What We Do in Lent: A Child's Activity Book Paperback – October 1, 2007

A simple set of pre-school activity pages (dot-to-dot, coloring, counting, word search), not the lentern learning experience I was hoping for. Many pages my 4 kids (2-7 years old) may be convinced to complete, but not really providing any of them with spiritual growth. Just Christ centered busy work.

Great book. I use it in my classroom.

This is a great resource to help kids understand Lent and why we celebrate it. The drawings are great for the kids to understand and work with. The activities cover all of Lent and really reinforce the days of Lent. I'm happy with this purchase and think that many kids will benefit from this book.

Very good book for explaining lent to children . I use every year for my sunday school class. Their book on advent is good too.

Such a great book for my 4 year old to have a "quite activity" during service. I cut the pages out, put them in plastic sleeves and then we use dry-erase markers so that we can keep using the workbook over and over.

Something Sunday school teachers have been looking for. I had a great deal of difficulty finding anything for children to do that pertains to Lent. This is a wonderful aid.

Bought this book for my granddaughter who is 4 yrs. old to help us prepare for Lent. It was a little hard for her so we will use it next year.

Very good, I had a hard time finding material suitable for my kindergarten faith formation class, this was helpful. The material was suitable for the grade level and older.

This is a super book. We have a children's table at the back of church and often copy worksheets according to lectionary. This is a lovely addition for working through Lent for the various yearly readings and with extra ideas. It's clear and nicely laid out, and the content is just perfect.

This has been a great guide for my children's journey through lent. We like reading the one line scripture readings on each page, plus the worksheets to explore the stories and ideas of the lenten season within the Anglican faith. There have been a few typos which is why I only give this 4-stars. For example, the word search spelt "temptation" incorrectly.
