Solid camera with minor interior shortcomings
I've been driving with this camera for about a month, now, and the first week of that was a roughly 2500-mile road trip. I've driven it in all sorts of (summer) weather and all times of the day, so I feel it's gotten a pretty good shakedown cruise at this point.First, the Good:The picture quality on this is GREAT. While it's not quite the fidelity I expected, I think that's mostly because A) I'm not used to raw footage that hasn't been post-processed somewhere along the line and B) the vibration from my car will physically limit the maximum resolution possible. Even still, though, this is something I can slap up on a 1080p monitor without a second thought. It also played nicely with my officially unsupported 64GB microSD, as well as the two supplementary 32GB cards I bought mid-trip. For most uses, I'd recommend a pair of 32GB cards; unless you're doing a long trip like I was and you want to record everything, alternating the 32's will give you MORE than enough space to work with, even on the highest resolutions. Driving as much as I did and trying to retain all of the footage from the trip at least until I got home was... difficult at max resolution, to say the least. I think I honestly would've needed three 64's for each half of the trip (there and back). But honestly, even a packrat like me doesn't really need to save that. The Bad:I found it more than a bit disappointing that you couldn't set the resolution of the two cameras independently. I don't drive Uber or anything like that, so I really only need enough interior resolution to prove I was looking at the road, etc. I wanted to shoot the exterior video in maximum resolution for potential use in a project, though, so that meant shooting both directions at maximum resolution. As mentioned above, on the scales I was dealing with for this trip, that meant a lot of stops near the end of each leg where I went through and deleted interior shots I knew I wasn't going to need, to save space for the exterior shots. The Ugly:This camera can supplement the interior view with an infrared overlay/camera, which is GREAT. Its ability to automatically switch between the two, however, is TERRIBLE. Driving during the 3-4 hours of dusk at this time of year & latitude, it would flip back & forth like it was having a seizure. Every time it switches, it needs to re-adjust the light levels, too, which means most of the footage during said "seizure" is highly blinded & utterly unusable. Given where I ended up placing the camera, the screen offered enough light to illuminate things without the IR, anyway, so I just turned it off entirely for the drive. I only ran into a problem driving through rural WV at night; it was cloudy & rainy, so there was NO ambient light aside from my headlights and the camera. What I didn't know until the next day was that the camera apparently couldn't handle so little light & movement (I'm guessing), and all of those interior videos were corrupted. I had to scrap the lot of them.It seems to me this could have all been easily remedied with a PHYSICAL switch for the IR. I can't manually turn it on without pulling over and diving through the menus (which aren't the most user-friendly to navigate in & out of) and I can't trust the auto-switch to properly detect the ambient light. This means it ended up being left off when it really needed to be on. That said, if you're driving mostly either/or and not as much in low-light situations like dusk, I doubt you'll have a problem at all. The IR does pick up a pretty good level in the blackest conditions, so if you're an Uber/etc driver and need to prove what happened in your vehicle, you're golden. All in all, I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with this camera and had I a time machine, I'd still buy it again in a heartbeat.

Recommend Uber Lyft Drivers and People Who Want Premium Recorders to Buy!
I love this camera for recording what happened in front of and inside the car. If you are an Uber or Lyft driver, you are supposed to have a durable, high-performance and reliable (both in day and at night) dash cam to film what happened not only on the road ahead but also in your vehicle as an evidence to protect you and your passengers. In the situations like your customers lost something, you are robbed, and your passengers give you negative feedback for no reason, the working recorder will save you! The model has a unique vertical 270-degree dual camera which is awesome for drivers. The resolution is high and it depends on how you set up and the SD-card you used. I will suggest a 128gb SD-card be used for recording videos and a backup 128gb SD-card to be stand-by.I had some concerns about the electric support for this dash cam before purchase because the specification indicates that the built-in battery has just 320 mA capacity and such battery need to support dual camera running. The truth is that I worried too much. It runs well for 3.5 hours and it just used nearly two-thirds of battery capacity after first full charge (I don’t know if it’s accurate as there are just three levels of battery capacity). The determined issues that eliminate my concerns are that the C2 model can be charged in a car by the cigarette lighter cable which means you would never run out of electricity. As I suggested, if you have a backup SD-card, it’s extremely hard to face the memory and electricity problem. You will be able to use a TV or any monitors and a HDMI cable to playback what you have recorded by C2. It’s more convenient than just TF-card playback by computer. There are two reasons for why it’s more convenient. Firstly, you will not like to use C2 itself playback as the screen is tiny and you are not able to track details in videos. Secondly, you will not need to uninstall and reinstall again and again and one more SD-card reader to see recorded videos by your laptop or Mac. I have a 22’ monitor and HDMI cable so I just need to insert and remove TF card for twice at the time of installation and full of memory in total. As both SD-card and SD-card slot are very weak and easy to be broken, decreasing the installation times will help. If you can use the feature of GPS of this cam, I bet it will make your recorded videos more reliable and evidential than not. You can use either a strong sticker or a sucking disc to stabilize the position of the dash cam. I used sucking disc as it’s very firm and easy to operate. In my opinion, C2 had already made distinctions between itself and other 30 bucks and 60 bucks dash camera. I think I just get how much I paid and I am really happy to have the great product. In other words, it’s worth to pay a premium price for a premium product. This dash camera is friendly to dummies and there is almost no cost for you to adjust its features and functions. If you ask me whether there can be improvements for this product, I would always like to say yes. The direction of Mini USB port should be in reverse as the power cable is not straight down when in use. However, it not a big deal. The button for control is a bit more but this may not be a shortcoming because the dash camera is using in a driving scenario in which drivers are supposed to click the right functional button at one time rather than looking at the camera’s screen. And it will be great if the C2 had a horizontal rotation camera feature.Long-term use reviews and other advantages or disadvantages will be updated and all kinds of comments are extremely welcomed!

Great dash cam
I’m very happy with it, easy to install and setup, works great, it’s a bit big but it’s ok with me.
