Hands Free Breast Pump Light | Lacta Lite | Wearable, Portable, Clip-On, Rechargeable Set of Lights

This is the must have accessory for mamas who are pumping! I used the older version every pump for a year of exclusively pumping, this newly redesigned model is even better and I am using it for my second pumping journey. You may wonder why a light attached to your pump flange is needed especially if your pump comes with a light as my spectra in the photo. The light on my pump is not enough to see the milk spray especially as milk droplets and condensation fog up the plastic of the flange. Even in bright daylight, there is not enough concentrated light to see the spray. These pump lights are perfect to illuminate brightly so you can see the milk spray and I use them every single pump day or night. Seeing the spray helps me know when I have a letdown and thus when to change modes from stimulation to expression and back on my pump. It also allows me to determine which spot and what pressure of hands on breast message gets the most flow going which makes for more milk expressed in a shorter amount of time- plus it encourages me to keep going with the breast compressions (which can be tedious) when I can see that the message is really working to help my flow. I would not be hands free to do breast compressions if I was holding my phone or a flashlight to see and so it would take me longer to pump and I would get less milk. They are also super handy for measuring milk into bottles in the night and lighting my way to the bathroom to wash out parts without turning on overhead lights and waking the whole house. I don't usually write reviews on amazon as I am a busy mom, but these are really my favorite- pumping is crazy hard work and these make it a little easier.

These have been such a game changer. I struggle with recurrent blocked ducts, and before I got these I was using my phone's flashlight all the time to try and assess how much I was letting down. These have freed up my hands completely and have made pumping so much easier, especially at night. With the "brights" on you have enough battery for 2-3 thirty minute pumps. If you use the normal amount of illumination (which is also totally adequate) you'll get more like 4-5. They take a little while to recharge, but are ready to go before my next pump 3 hours later. I love these. If you're on the fence at all, or find yourself fumbling with your phone's flashlight in the middle of the night while you pump, do not pass on these.One tiny callout--if you have a smaller flange size, they may not fit your flange depending on what brand you have. These fit my Medela flanges, but the metal prongs are too big for my Spectra flanges (17mm).

I never review products, but I have to praise this invention because I’m so grateful it exists! I bought these without hesitation and they did not disappoint. Once I regulated I started needing to massage during letdowns, and this product allows me to pump in the dark with both hands free to massage instead of having to hold up my phone to use as a light. The rechargeable battery is also an excellent feature. The only constructive criticism I can offer is that while I think having different levels of brightness is a great idea, I wish there were a dimmer option, because I don’t need it to be as bright as it is at the lowest level.

I find I use these unattached more often than attached, which makes these similar to the keychain LED lights that you can buy for a few bucks.

I’m 2 months postpartum from baby #3 and can I say - Lacta Lite, where have you been all these years?! These are perfect and easily replace the awkward phone-light-between-the-legs alternative. At first I was a little skeptical of how well they would hold up as the wire seems a little flimsy and the sliding action of the wire loops were a little too smooth to be true but they have proven themselves thus far. I’m basically an exclusive pumper so I use these EVERY time I pump and it’s become part of my pumping routine. I keep them with my pump in a little zipper pouch meant for a pacifier. They easily fit a variety of flange size and stay put. The light charge lasts so long - I’ve only had to recharge them once over two months and use them for about 2 hours every day. I’ll update if that changes over time, but so far, I am a huge fan of these! Kudos to a great and needed product!

I thought the lights would be bright enough to place in my bra while using my wireless wearable pumps. Unfortunately the lights are entirely too dim, and now I can't return them so I'm stuck with expensive flash lights I'll never use again..

I really didn’t want to like these because they were so expensive for lights but they are invaluable as an exclusive pumper!!! No more flashing myself in the eye during the middle of the night lumps and I can easily see when I have my letdowns. Would highly highly recommend if you can swing it!

Only found out about this while complaining (again) why pumps don’t have built in lights so you can see your milk coming out. Then I happen to google it, and came across these. Works exactly like the photo. Easily clips on and off your breast pump flange and lights it up so you can see your milk flow. I always was using my phone light every time because it’s hard to tell when the milk stops, and the spray and condensation block your view even in good light. So nice to just look down and see it already lit up. Perfect brightness. You know you’re a mom when you get excited about a light for breast milk!
