The Bridge Kingdom

I started the book on Sunday and finished it on Monday, this was damm fast for me. I couldn’t keep this book down, it’s so addictive. After FBAA series I read last November, this book made me read it like crazy.Lara is a beautiful, intelligent girl, trained for infiltrating the enemy kingdom. Aren is the king of that kingdom and is an honourable man. The world they live in seems realistic filled with politics. My new favourite couple of this year are Lara and Aren. I loved the character development and the story is intense and features a lot of action, reading it is highly recommended. The relationship arc is slow from enemies to lovers.Ending of the book is brutal, with everything happening, it just breaks your heart. I can’t wait to indulge in ‘The Traitor Queen’, will be starting right away.

Lara is a kickass and deadly though her choices are questionable but that was all because of the upbringing where she was isolated for years with just her sisters by side with the only motive to take down the Bridge Kingdom being trained as assassin.Aren and Lara are passionate for their people, their work and this is what drives them to do things they don't properly think through.The world created by the author was enthralling and seductive, I did lose myself into it in no time. It did break my heart but that was something I was expecting. The writing was well paced and good though some parts of the plot were predictable.This enemies to lovers with arranged marriage and slow burn romance was with badass vibes and I recommend it.

The quality of the print is amazing and the pages are of great quality. I haven't read it yet but i hope its as good as it sounds.

I loved the story. Three stars for that. 1 star deducted for unnecessarily detailed conflict sequences. 1 star deducted for a heroine who comes across as too "contrived"

This book is beautiful. It has everything i want in a fierce enemies to lovers plot. I love it to my very core. This book is my fav. Plz read it. Pick it up with thinking and dive in. It is amazing.

I took this by chance and found a new world that was worth my time. I love books based on sea and islands. The first few chapters in this book was a bit fast, but once when Lara arrives in the Bridge Kingdom, things started to become better and interesting. I actually thought this might be a New Adult Fantasy, that didn't focus on the plot development, but I was completely wrong. Aren and Lara's relationship took a turn for the better and I loved how they formed a bond after knowing each other. Aren was wary about Lara's questions and interest, because he had a reason to, but later he let's his guards down.What I liked most in the book was the chapters on the bridge. The bridge plays a huge role in this book. It was a gate for enemies to encroach and Aren was protecting it well, until Lara arrived on the island.Highly recommend this book, if you love Fantasy (slow-burn) Romance.

Good one

I was literally hooked from the very first chapter of this book. When Lara made a shocking decision and acted on it, I loved how brave and smart she was. Morally grey heroines are my favourite and Lara was amazing! I didn't expect to like this book so much but it was a fun read, though I had been expecting something more twisted and mysterious. The angst and some swoon-worthy moments were enough for me to ship Aren & Lara. I enjoyed reading this book and I'm looking forward to pick up the next one!

I loved the story and I cant wait to read the next book. The story was creative and I fell in love with the characters. A little disappointed that the ending was predictable, but hoping to find more surprise in book 2. Because it was predictable, I didn’t find myself enthralled like I had hoped but I still really enjoyed the story, the writing, and the world building!

All the story is so captivating, I love it every scene of Aren and Lara. They’re incredibly great together. And I’m a bit sad for the confusion of the end. But, Lara is amazing and came to show how she is. Let’s go to book 2.
