Compact. Works as advertised.
Good product. Would benefit from a design change that allowed one to see the amount of butane in the gun.

Can't get it to heat up
I filled with butane and I have tried and tried to get it to ignite to no avail. I hear the gas coming out but it just won't ignite! Very frustrated. I thought this might be good out on the job to make countertop templates, but never have had a chance to see it work.

Work but no storing case
What I like about this cordless hot glue gun:1. It uses butane gas to power so you can take it wherever needed.2. It is very light and easy to use.3. It comes with some glue sticks that you can use right away.4. It auto shuts off when it is hot and ready to be used. What I don't like about this glue gun:1. For almost $60, this didn't even come with a storage case. With the glue stick left sticking out of the gun, I didn't know how to store it. This tool should really come with a storage case!2. There is no indication of how much fuel is in the gun so you never know when to refill or how much to refill the gun.3. The heat display window (tiny circle) turns blue when you first ignite the tool then it turns orange until it gets hot then shuts down and repeats that as needed but if you shut off the gas and try to re-ignite it, the display window is still in orange. I had no idea whether I had lit the fuel or not. I re-ignited it a few more times but the display still shows an orange color. On first use, I was a little worried that this gun might explode on me because the gas hissing sound is there but there is no indication of it being lit. After I tried re-igniting a few times and didn't see the blue in the display window, I assume it was lit and just let the hissing sound continues with the orange display until it shuts off. I read the manual a few times and there was no mention of this either so if you are using this tool, just know that you will encounter this scenario!Overall, it is a very nice, portable, and a good hot glue gun. I just wish the instruction was better and more importantly, I wish it had come with a storage case.

Works Great. Exactly As Described. Almost Perfect
The media could not be loaded. Where has this been all my life…I have been using Glue Guns since I was a child. They really are useful for so many different things. I always wanted a good cordless one. The first one I tried was low temp and use standard household batteries. It worked, but it went through batteries like a tornado in a trailer park. After that I nearly gave up on the idea of a cordless glue gun. I investigated some of the ones that used power tool batteries. Even though those would be rechargeable they all shared a few problems. Namely, they were bulky, heavy, and expensive. The closest thing I had found to what I wanted was one that didn’t have a battery but instead had a dock. You would turn on the dock then the glue gun would heat up. You could then use it for about a minute before you needed to put it back on the dock. Obviously not great but better than nothing. Then I stumbled upon this. I wasn’t even looking for glue guns and this just fell into my lap. Why did I never consider the idea that there might be a butane hot glue gun. Butane hot glue guns have apparently been around for at least a few years, and I never knew. Let me tell you, this thing works fantastically.First things first. Only use a high-quality butane fuel. The brand I use is Neon 11x Butane. The 11x means that the butane has been refine 11 times. This really is important! I used to use cheap butane or even brand name butanes like Zippo. All my butane lighters & tools would eventually die. Since using Neon, I haven’t lost a single Butane tool.Filling only took about 5-7 seconds. Once filled I turned the lever to the ¾ position and pushed the ignite button. It fired up on the very first try and within 2 minutes I was applying hot glue. This gun is light weight but still feels like it is made of quality material and well put together. It is fast and portable. The glue comes out easily without needing to apply excessive force to the trigger. My one potential concern is the temp. Low temp is between 200-250 degrees Fahrenheit while high temp is between 375-450 degrees Fahrenheit. This gun is designed to regulate the temperature between 284- and 320-degrees Fahrenheit. It’s a little high for low temp but will probably work. The seller says it will work with high and low temp, but I don’t see how since it doesn’t appear to get hot enough. So far, I have only used the glue it came with but that will soon be gone, and I will try my high temp glue sticks…if they cause a problem, I will need to come back and update my review. This doesn’t come with a case. I knew that when I bought it and the only reason, I bring it up is because it is butane. I have never purchased a hot glue gun that came with a protective case, and I have bought some expensive hot glue guns. I also have never purchased a butane tool (tool not lighter) that didn’t come with a case. If you plan to through this in your toolbox you might want to purchase something to protect it. I am keeping mine up on the peg board, so it really isn’t a problem for me.The one small complaint I have with this is how stiff the stand is. It really doesn’t flip very easily. It will probably become easier once the stand has been flipped a few dozen times. On a positive note, though, I have no worries about the stand collapsing and the glue gun falling over.If you’re in need of some cordless gluing action, then look no further. I highly recommend it.

Nifty tool!
So somehow, I did not realize this was a butane hot glue gun until it arrived at my house. That threw me off a bit, but hey I have butane so let’s try this. I craft a lot, so the idea of a cordless glue gun is brilliant. This gun works well. Butane doesn’t last long or I’m not sure if I am filling it up right. It does heat up really fast though compared to my other glue guns. I had a little trouble getting it going the first time around, and still think I accidentally got it to work, but haven’t had any issues since. I would recommend this, especially if you’re a crafter.

Not working anymore
I used this glue gun yesterday and I must say I'm impressed! Absolutely a must have if you do work in the field. In the past I would my torch to melt glue sticks and just smear glue and hope it was in the right place. Now I have the correct tool for any non-electric glue situations.Well the above review no longer stands true . After my initial use the silly thing never worked again. I watched a ton of videos and went to the manufactures web site for a fix to no avail. I did find It clearly states that after 30 days NO REFUND NO EXCHANGE. Not sure what to think about that one.
