This year I've been trying to focus on gut health which I feel I had overlooked despite taking quite a range of vitamins and supplements. I was interested to see these vegan and cruelty-free Our Remedy Probiotics containing 10 billion live cultures and 7 different strains which come in a plastic-free pack.Part of my interest in these lay in the fact that I'd never previously seen a probiotic supplement that claimed to aid both gut and vaginal health. The 60 easy to swallow UK-made capsules arrive in an attractive resealable pouch. With a '1-2 capsules per day' serving size, the pack will last either one month or two depending on how many you choose to take and the one I received has a long Best Before date of the end of August 2024.Much is made in the online description and on the packaging of this being 'an award winning female founded brand' - but there's nothing to suggest which award/s were won or for what or anything about the brand's back story.Crucially, neither the listing nor the pack explains why these probiotics may be more suitable for women than for men or why they're good for vaginal as well as gut health. But on the back of the pack is a QR code to scan to 'get your free 'Cycle Care Guide' - which would seem to be entirely irrelevant.Personally, I'd like to see greater attention paid to the aspects mentioned - especially when those aspects appear to be emphasised by the brand as being amongst its particular strengths. I'm rating this 4 stars as a consequence. If you'd like some of these questions answered, do what I've just done and take a look at the Our Remedy website which will fill in some gaps - and enabled me to say this may aid bloating, UTIs and vaginal thrush. But in my view a little more detail needs giving here on Amazon.

I found the product didn't help. I prefer the candida treatment by candidastop. Much more effective.

I wasn't a big fan of these probiotics. I started taking these after a 7-day course of antibiotics, in the hopes that they might bolster my gut health. I took them for around 10 days and noticed no positive effects.I was suffering from nausea and a bit of a funny stomach after the antibiotics, so was hoping that it would help even that out a bit. I took 1 a day; the instructions state you can take 1-2 "1 times a day" which I thought was strange as usually with a supplement like this, if it is 2 a day, you would spread that out and not take it at the same time. I did not notice any reduction in my bloating.The size of the capsules are the same as most probiotics, I wouldn't say they are small but they are also not too difficult to swallow. The packaging is nice and I really like that it comes in a slim resealable pouch as opposed to a jar.I have still rated these with 3 stars despite seeing no effect as I am aware each person's body is different, and the variety of strains and amount of bacteria in these capsules is good. They may work better for someone else despite not working for me.
