TerraMen's Spider Work Shoe Black

Well, so far so good. Be sure to order your size correctly. They have a size chart I didn't see till after my first return and second order. I'm usually a size 11.5. However, with these I am a size 10. Ordered the "black" color option, they apprear to be grey instead. But due to lack of time and the fact it took me 5 different shoes to find a safety toe shoe I liked, i just kept the off color ones. You can judge for yourself in the pictures. Otherwise, they are comfortable and seem waterproof to an extent. Anything over the very top of the shoe laces will fill with water, obviously. I am curious to see how the odor control technology works. Time will tell. Over all good fit and feel. 9/10 would buy again.

I we'll start by saying the only reason I made a three-star review is because I own the gray version of these shoes and they're awesome.. the picture shows black and has description that says they are black..unfortunately they are not black, these will be the grey color. Similar to the terra vevom that is on Amazon. Who ever control z product pages needs to fix this I had to waste time and money! and my return/refund took near 2 weeks 😠

The shoes arrived before they were supposed to arrive, which is always good. That being said, the tracking number the company gave was bunk, so I had my doubts before they were in my post office box. Sheplers handled the order and, as of today (August 24, 2017), it still shows that the package is shipping. But hey, they delivered.About the shoes: I ordered a smaller size than I usually wear, sound decision after reading the reviews. They do fit like a size larger than they say on the box. All in all, they feel solid. I work at an airport in Los Angeles and I needed a shoe that is tough and can go through screening without having to take them off. The composite toe was the right choice for me. And, since I move around a great deal, the weight of the shoe is perfect: They are not too heavy, though I noticed they are heavier than my previous pair.***It's been over a year now (December 15, 2018). I had to stop using the shoes because they offer virtually NO ARCH SUPPORT. If this is a factor for you, then I would recommend you go with a different pair. They are still in pretty good shape, which is a shame since I can't use them. Oh, well...

Not my favorite shoe, and too late to return. The sole is very stiff, terrible flex, and the rubber is hard and slippery on most damp surfaces. Even after 6 months of use, the sole is still not very flexible. The sides where the shoes tough my ankle are chaffing. I waited this long because I thought they would break-in, but to my dismay this is not the case.Also, the material on the top portion of the shoe is already starting to crack... not good.For this price I am not satisfied at all, will NOT buy these again.

First the pros, they look nice, they seem pretty sturdy and the tread works well.The cons: I have never had a shoe that is as uncomfortable on the top of my foot as these are. The tops of my feet ache after just a few hours wearing them. I cannot lossen the laces enough to make them comfortable.Where the tongue meets the toe on the inside sticks down so far it has rubbed my foot raw.Absolute garbage design.

We waited forever for this to arrive due to living in a remote area. We where so excited they say they came. There amazing and definitely look like they will hold up quality wise. Unfortunately they did not fit my husband. He wears a size eleven and they where way to big. So now we can’t return them as there is no ups here. But we have order a smaller size and our hopeful those ones will fit.

I wore these shoes right out of the box. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, and got the 9.5 just to have extra room in the toe box. Just perfect. Insoles aren't great, but don't really bother me. Nothing rubs, shoes are light. I'm on my feet 8-12 hours a day in these and I couldn't be more impressed. Only had them a couple weeks, so I can't comment on durability, but so far nothing has given me any evidence of potential issues.

Had these for over a year, they do need replacing now but I will say this is the longest I've had a pair of safety toe shoes last. They're lightweight compared to keens or similar brands. Someone was complaining about them not being broken in but if you actually use them they'll be broken in fairly quick. Gonna be buying another pair for sure and I can definitely recommend them.

Los compré por que me gustó el diseño, las críticas dicen que queda muy, MUY, grande. Son zapatos de trabajo, la punta de protección generalmente hace ver el pie más grande, en mi caso, me interesa lo ancho, y ahí ajusta muy bien, en cuanto a lo largo, basta con que compres un número más chico al que usas, y si eres de pie delgado, calcula número y medio, me gustó que no son muy pesado, dentro del rango de zapato de trabajo, son relativamente ligeros. Los recibí muchísimo antes de lo esperado, me encantaron, el servicio de Amazon estupendo como siempre.

I tried so many safety shoes over the years... But this is the best I ever tried by far. This is my 3rd pair. Normally you either go for boots and sacrifice comfort for durability or shoes that don't last. I used to have to buy new shoes every 3 months. But not anymore, this shoe lasted about 1.5 years and is still good. I just bought a new one for aesthetic reasons. I wash them in the washing machine no problem. You can change the insoles and get anything you like. They are flat with no heel compared to other safety shoes. At first it might feel a bit weird but after sometime I noticed that my feet and legs are way less tired on the long run.

I gotta say was surprised they fit well and true to size I have gone through many steel toes usually stop wearing them due to hard on my feet these ones I can see wearing all day weather I am working or not..... will say add another insole will help you lots as the front seems alittle light on padding

Very comfortable and I love the style. I've only worn them for a few months but they've already torn. I am disappointed in the durability of these shoes. I bought them in Oct but have only started to wear them regularly/daily in March after winter. My job is low impact and do not require safety shoes but I thought these would last longer than typical runners. Looks like I was wrong.

A bit on the expensive side. Not good in the winter as the sole becomes super hard and slippery on snow. Be aware they are not very wide do if you have a wide foot, rethink these ones. Otherwise the lightweight and flat sole like a skate shoe does wonders for my sore Achilles tendons.
