Guys….what do you call someone who raps about veggies? A BEET boxer!!!! Thank you, thank you very much! *Bows*I've had beet powder before of a different brand….it didn't really have a flavor. I'm sure it was healthy, it just didn't do anything for my water other than turn it a pretty color. This one is very different! It tastes just like fresh beets out of the garden! I don't know if it's the freeze drying that holds the flavor or what but yum! The only down side to that is that it won't work like a food coloring without altering the flavor.Anywho, though the container is quite small, the serving size is 1 tsp, so it should go a ways. There's not really directions for how to use it, but I just put mine in a glass of water. Mixes in very well and very quickly.Fair warning…be careful when you open the seal at the top, the powder poofs! I'm guessing it could likely stain light colored clothing.Love this though. So much tastier than the previous one that I tried. Just do keep in mind when ordering that the container is small. I know it states the weight, but I just assumed the container would be bigger.

I love this for making borscht, lower in sugar but very good. I add it to water with just a bit of cranberry or other juice too. Great size for traveling.

Upon opening the can, The contents were in a crust I needed a spoon to break up.The red colors are indeed amazingly bold.I have used the dosing device and have made 4 glasses worth to date.Unfortunately this stuff doesn’t dissolve well at all. No matter how much I stirred, most was in bottom of glass after drinking 90% of mixed drink.I have to report that it not only does not dissolve well but it feels like grainy sand in your mouthI let price motivate this purchase and have purchased other beet juice powder products and never experienced anything like this.I hope it was a bad batch. Otherwise I would avoid this one.

I have some digestive issues that keep me from being able to eat certain veggies. I really love beets, but I can’t properly digest them without any pain, so I thought this would be a really cool way to add beet flavor into different foods that I make.So far, I’ve mostly used it as a way to naturally color bread dough. It works very well as a natural colorant without importing a ton of flavor, so I definitely do recommend this as a cool and useful way to add some pizzazz to baking projects.Aside from bread related endeavors, I’ve also used this as part of a soup. I used it to flavor and color the broth, as one of the kids I am a godparent to loves the color pink and wanted to have pink colored chicken noodle soup. It definitely did the job and coloring the soup, as well as adding a really nice flavor. My goddaughter was incredibly enthused and actually said that she prefers the soup with the beet powder in it, rather than without.

I got great pumpkin flavor from the container, only it isn't clear from Amazon how small the package really comes. There is a misplaced decimal in the description, as it reads 40 oz instead of 4.0 oz. However, upon closer review, the nutritional information does read as approximate 17 teaspoons of product. The price point per oz is much higher than I had initially believed, but the flavor is more than adequate.

I am very happy with this Freeze Dried Pumpkin Powder. I have never seen a food like this. Freeze drying pumpkin into a powder is unique to me. The container seals well and is easy to spoon the product from. I appreciate that the expiration is about 2 years out. The flavor is light yet effective. I have tried this in coffee and enjoyed the taste. I am excited to try this in scones, smoothies, and a lot of other recipes. I think it would work well in pancakes without changing the texture. I highly recommend this Freeze Dried Pumpkin Powder.

First question is ... the side of the contain says "snack on the go"??? I don't fully understand how this is possibly a snack on the go. Tried a little bit of the powder on its own, very strong - I don't recommend doing that. Also, I don't understand how this would work on/in anything other than a smoothie. That said, we added it to a smoothie (1tbl) and we could taste the spinach but it wasn't overwhelming. Very fine powder and appears to be exactly what it claims.I will be trying some other powders of theirs as well, seems like a good addition to enhancing smoothies.

I loved the powder I’ve been buying for the past year. BUT this new can contained a big lump that reconstituted into weak beet granules. Major texture and flavor intensity change without explanation. Will no longer buy after second new can was another lump.
