Ordered this umbrella as a gift for my girlfriend hoping that she'd like the cup holder idea. I like to test gifts before I give it to someone, to make sure I'm not giving them junk, and this umbrella passes the test!The double layer feels very sturdy and I know she'll love the pink color! My favorite part is the auto close button, which makes it very easy to close if your hands are occupied as you're getting into a car or walking into a building. And it closes upwards, so no water gets on you. The cup holder handle is definitely an added bonus! I tried a cup I typically get from my favorite coffee shop and it fits! I tried a can and it doesn't fit on its own, but when I used a coozy it actually worked!If you're looking for an umbrella, and want something different from your typical umbrella, I'd recommend this. My only complaint is that it's not very portable, but I don't think they are going for portability, so I can't knock them too much.Update: I am updating my review to five stars because my girlfriend has now had the chance to use it several times and loves it! She loves how sturdy the canopy is in the wind, and really likes the pink color. She's also even used the cup holder a few times while walking in the rain and on her phone. She likes it so much, she is considering buying more as gifts for her friends.

"Pros: reasonably lightweight; dries readily; holds up to moderately gusty wind; stands without support when folded; easy to open and close; cup holder doubles as teether (if you happen to have a baby in tow). Cons: cup holder feature is hard to use (adjustability or something with more friction inside the ring would help, I suspect, like a rubber gasket); umbrella seems less sturdy than one might wish; somewhat bulky for public transport/perching in shopping carts/etc. I can't speak to its longevity yet, or to how it performs in strong wind, but overall I'm happy with it. Being able to stand it up on its own to dry is especially handy."

I loved it when it arrived. The cup holder was sturdy, I tested it on a few of my travel mugs of different sizes and they all fit. Unfortunately, 4 days later when it was raining and I actually needed it...it wouldn’t stay open! It kept closing on its own. The first two times I thought I may have bumped the retraction button, but that wasn’t the case. I made sure to keep clear, and it tried to pop closed another 6 or 7 times over the 2 block walk to work. Returning, in hopes that I simply have an odd lemon!

I have been using this umbrella for about a year and love how sturdy and convenient it is! The fabric and handle are very durable and can withstand Hawaii's strong rain and wind gusts, unlike my previous umbrellas. The cup holder is super convenient and frees up a hand to walk your dog or use your phone. It fits Starbuck's sized cups perfectly! The cup holder also duals as an easy way to hang the umbrella when not in use. I keep mine hanging on the front door for easy access. The inverted feature and quick release button make getting into and out of your car a breeze, without having to get wet. When inverted after use, the wet side stays contained, so you don't have to worry about setting a soaking wet umbrella down in your car or home after use. This is the best umbrella I have ever owned and am extremely satisfied with this product!

I bought this umbrella thinking it was going to be a good one that would last a long time. After 2 uses the fabric came loose from its anchor point underneath the umbrella, and is now splitting apart. This umbrella is just plain junk. Very dissatisfied with this umbrella!!! Update: Customer service notified me after seeing this review, and sent me another umbrella. The cup holder was broken on this one! Wow still NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Love the umbrella and color! Got tons of compliments on it. However, the cup holder part already broke after one use. It's cracked all the way through. May be able to savage it with duck tape ;)***Updated to 5 stars! Company reached out to me and sent a replacement due to the broken cup holder. Excellent customer service and still love the umbrella! Now my co-workers have ordered some. Highly recommend!!****

I purchase this for a gift for Christmas. The first one I received was broken at the cup holder portion of the handle and had to return it and get another. It seamed to operate just fine but the handle is really flimsy. I don't own it but I have a feeling the handle will be the first thing to break.

Gift for a co-worker moving to Seattle. The umbrella/cup holder idea is hilarious although, I'm not sure how practical it is. I guess it does free up a hand if your walking around.I'm just sure I'd forget and to the umbrella or something and dump coffee all over myself or some poor unsuspecting stranger. The umbrella itself seemed to be of great quality and very sturdy. Love the double later with pop of pink inside. The recipient loved it.
