Be sure to carry rivet extractor tool. I also carry a small pliers, although the instructions tell you how to lock it in by pedaling. But I also needed the pliers to get more leverage on the rivet extractor, although the first time I think I used some rocks. Only thing strange is that they tell you to point the arrow in the direction of travel, but since both halves are identical, only one will be facing in the right direction. I went with the one on the outside of the chain, away from the bike, and this seemed to work fine.
