I started having tendinitis issues by my thumb, making it really hard to open pull tabs. And until this happens, you don’t realize just how many cans now have pull tabs! This works as advertised, providing leverage to pull the lid backwards. I haven’t really tried out some of the other functions but the bottle top opener (fit twisty caps) didn’t work as well for me. Taking a star off because this is made with a very lightweight plastic and I honestly don’t expect it to last long.

Ordered for a senior who was having trouble opening the lids of water bottles. This item was not effective for opening the twist off tops. The opening on this was too large for the tops. I would not recommend for a senior with arthritis and strength issues. If you still have good strength and agility in your hands this works well to open flip top cans and pry off bottle caps. The magnetic attachment is really good to keep within easy reach on the refrigerator. I would not recommend for elderly or people with arthritic hands.

Due to arthritis, I do not have enough strength in my hands to open pull-top cans like Kirkland's Chunk Chicken Breast. Using this little manual opener allows me to not only open the pull-tops but to completely remove the lids with no pain to my thumbs or hands.Great find. I very much recommend it. YouTube has videos on how to use the opener which I found very useful. After opening my first can I now know how to easily do it.

I bought it for myself and will be buying more for gifts for my friends. I love it and use it all the time. Great product.

The media could not be loaded.  I have crippling arthritis in both thumbs. I recently had surgery on my left hand. Opening the cat food can was painful, screaming pain. I tried using both an electric and hand held opener. Hand held there absolutely no way. Electric wouldn't connect. I hated cats dinner time. In my video I show how to use it. You see me stumble a little but I only have one hand no way to hold it still. What you don't see or hear is the screaming pain that came along with trying to open the can without my favorite little tool. In 5 months I have my other hand done. This will make my life even easier when I don't have use of my dominant hand. It's FANTASTIC. What I don't like is....in the add for it , it says: for weak hands, arthritis, funny gift. My opinion there is nothing funny about not having the use and constant pain in your hands. Id like to see that removed.

Bought to open Gatorade. Kitchen Mama very good brand. I have their can opener. Use it frequently.Ordered two other brands. Hope they open Gatorade! Lids come in lots of different sizes and styles. Wish lids were standardized.

Easy to open screw top lids or ring pull for drinks or tins. I have rheumatoid arthritis and this is really useful. Haven’t used this one yet for jars but used a similar and it’s also easy and free from pain which is always a bonus
