good
I had no experience with mango leaves so I had no expectations. The leaves are light green and reasonably consistent. I bought this for making tea for the supposed health benefits. I already had hibiscus flowers, which is a potent antioxidant, and a tea strainer. I wasn't that crazy about the flavor of my latest hibiscus - my first hibiscus purchase was good tasting at first but tea goodness didn't last long and I use it very slowly (the latest hibiscus is holding its flavor better). The mango leaves, by themselves, do not make a good tasting tea - but close to half mango to hibiscus makes the hibiscus better - I like it. I can also put a square inch of mango leaf in with a black tea bag when I'm making black tea. I fish the mango piece out before I drink the tea. It definitely doesn't make the black tea taste better so I doubted I would get used to it, but I did. I moved all the mango leaves into one of those commonly available tall straight glass jars with a metal lid which is the full width of the jar. The leaves just fit into the 8 1/2 by 4 1/4 inch jar. The mango leaves were $9.95 for two ounces. Two ounces of leaves is more than I thought because they're light.

Freshness
All leaves were disease free, no spots anywhere, and they were still green, not yellow like from other suppliers.

So far so good
I use these mango leaves in my tea everyday..it adds a bit of a different flavor and the health benefits so far are great. The only thing I didn't like about it is that some of them seem like they was getting old and I had to throw a few away.. But overall they're great

kinda dried
I know these are "dried" but I thought they may have some flavor to them. Not quite dry enough to make tea and didn't work out for just chewing on them. Heard they do this alot to get the vitamins...but just wasnt for me.

A little known remedy for high blood sugar
Fully organic and absolutely wonderful for managing my insulin resistant pcos. A West Indian secre t if you will. I boil 10 - 15 leaves in a large pot of water and let it sit overnight. Afterwards it is strained through a cheesecloth and a glass is consumed every morning on an empty stomach. I will update this review when I test my blood sugar again.
