Drop Leg Platform - Thigh Rig by Blade-Tech for Holsters, Mag Pouch, TASER, Leo and More

My wife is 105lbs, and she was able to get this thigh holster torqued down a foot smaller to secure to her tiny legs so it could hold her M18 for tactical training. So, it is very versatile. Very sturdy and well made, as the holster we had made specifically for her gun had to be tweaked on the rig by a Pro at Frontsight.

I bought this when my agency switched to the new Taser 10 and we had to have the provided holster as part of our duty gear (no third party holsters accepted by policy). The new taser holster wouldn't fit on my Blackhawk drop leg platform because of the screw configuration. This one fit fine with a little finagling, it's securely mounted and sits comfortably on my upper thigh.

Exactly what it says. This thing is great, especially if your making your own holsters and such. I was able to mount everything just the way I pictured in my head when I purchased it. The thigh bands are just rediculus. Rubber and metal weaved into the nylon. they grip really well on my pants from that alone, and the buckle is very comfortable. The vertical adjustment though is aggrivating. a single piece of velcro that loops through the backing. you have to fight the dang thing to make any sort of adjustments, and how high it goes is very limited. I have it as high as humanly possible and the top edge of the platform still sits about 8 inches below my hip bone. which is BARELY high enough for my liking. I wish the belt side attatchment was a hook clip or even a single velcro strap, but its a 3 fold 2 slim jim cuts of a thing and is very difficult to get to sit right. I plan on making my own replacement soon. Otherwise, its a fantastic modular rig and completely recommend unless your shorter than 5ft 10, because if I cant get it high enough for comfort, its gonna sit on your knee if your any shorter than me.

Hubby is a motor cop and ordered this for work. No problems so far.
