Nice upgrade to the non- Bluetooth Jeeps.
Really easy Install. So far I love it, the only thing I didn’t u sweat and was the use of the antenna for the gps, since I can only use the gps when I’m connected to CarPlay on my phone. Not a big deal, I’m still satisfied. The price could be better.

Works well with iPhone CarPlay
Great upgrade to the stock Jeep stereo. Installation was fairly simple. Alpine has a great instructional video for Jeep specific installation. I have some issues with antenna and microphone but that might just be on me. I might update if there are any updates.

Maestro Unit is Awful.
Update: 02/2020 I would stay away from this unit. It uses the maestro module. This is a module to help add all the functionality that your uconnect had. Had one fail Alpine sent a new one for an additional $145. That is now failing too. Its awful. What an incredible waist of money.Original review.Had this professionally installed. A little beyond my scope. Went to a guy who is very good. He has a great reputation. I felt like this was a little beyond his knowledge. Install came out great. Tested with an iPhone was perfect. Connecting to android auto proved more difficult. Couldn't get it to connect.I uninstalled and reinstalled android auto and swapped out the usb cable. That did the trick. I'm running a Note 8.I was worried about my huge music library on my uconnect hard drive. Truth be told if you have amazon music unlimited you just need to make play lists. Not missing my music at all.Navigation is amazing. Running Waze and google maps. No updates required perfect GPS in dash. Amazing! 2 days in in loving it!

Fits great and looks stock!
It’s only getting 4 out of 5 stars for me for two reasons: the usb cable that came with the Maestro RR was incorrect and didn’t fit for flashing purposes, and Pandora doesn’t seems to work at the moment either. However, everything else is as expected and is light years ahead of the stock wrangler head unit. Pretty satisfied, but I’ll bump it to 5 stars if I can figure out why pandora isn’t working.Update: Pandora issue was resolved... problem was my phone. Happy camper now... 5 out of 5. Great system.

Ehhhhhhhhhh its ok. Not worth the premium pricetag.
Apple car play? Love it. Overall functionality of the head unit? Fantastic. Does the kid come with literally everything you need? Absolutely. Maestro integration? Lovely. Customization? Top notch. Sound quality? Spot on. Now, the negatives. Price blows. Installation ease is a 4 out of 10. Why? a lot of the stuff being wired isn't necessarily the right lengths. The extra stuff on the wiring harness (Sirius, maestro) make it an absolute bear to get it into the bracket and mounted. IF you have a jeep that had Sirius radio, you do NOT need to install the Sirius antenna. By the way, that Sirius tuner is separate. The color of the black on the head unit could have been matched to the color of the dash to give it that true integrated look. The actual alpine camera is 1999 smart phone quality. Can I mention how this isn't water resistant like the big brother? When I say not water resistant, I mean any sort of moisture in any damn way. You'll see the picture with the haze behind the screen. Whats that? Humidity. I woke up in the morning, started the jeep, and the morning dew/humidity collects BEHIND THE SCREEN! Im sorry, but for the price of this unit the touch screen should at the very least have a proper seal. Once it heats up a bit it goes away. For a grand and what I got? I should have at least gotten a reach around.

Excellent Touch Screen
I used to have a Raxiom touch screen in my jeep that broke after about a year. It was covered under warranty and returned. I didn't mind that radio but it was nothing special. It wasn't until I bought and started using this unit that I realized how much better it was. The sound for calls with the mic is much more clear and crisp. Touch screen is quicker and more responsive. Hooks up to Android or Apple phone. I have had it for almost a month now and its been excellent. Will follow up after some more time with it.

Great Upgrade
Great upgrade to the stock head unit in my 2016. Be aware that the instructions for entering the head unit serial number for the Maestro flash may vary: instructions said first 9 characters, but mine only worked after reflashing with all 10 serial number characters.

Great product, lots of cool features.
Replaced my stock stereo in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with this unit. So far I love it, one of the coolest features is that you can upload an image of your choice as the startup screen image. I use the Apple Car Play and Sirius XFM features (Sirius XFM unit was purchased separately). Excellent product.

Hard install, overall better than stock
I have a 2018 JK wrangler that came with the 430n stock UCONNECT head unit. The alpine was difficult to install. The wiring harness barley fits inside the dash. This was extremely frustrating and took a lot of time to get right. The mic that also comes with the alpine unit is garbage. If you are driving on a highway or over 80km/hr, the person on the other line will not be able to hear you. I literally have to put my face as close to my windshield as possible when I’m on the highway and on the phone for people to hear me.Other than these issues the radio is fine. Apple CarPlay is a nice touch. I just expected better quality for such an expensive unit. Shop around before committing to alpine.
