Worked like a dream
Not the best skipper on the planet so when I come flying into the dock at warp. This handy device makes docking muck easier.

The top hook broke off rather easily
I dislike I can’t use this because the hook part broke off and now it is useless. Well the telescoping part still works :/

Handy boat hook

When I bought our boat I was told the first accessory to buy was a boat hook. Our boat is in a slip and this is an indispensable tool both for leaving the slip and redocking. It is also great if you drop something in the water. The description can be confusing but it is about 5 ft. collapsed and 13 ft. extended or you can set it anywhere in between. Of course when extended you sacrifice stability, but we have not founded necessary to extend fully except to fish a hat out of the water.
