Now in preschool my daughter has music twice a week. She would come home talking about the musical instruments she would play and that she wanted to play musical instruments at home. seeing her passion and always talking about it made me look into a little set she could live out her pretend music band. There are SO many musical sets on Amazon and spent a good amount of time reading reviews and decided on this one. And I’m really glad I did she loves her little set.Honestly I wasn’t expecting much from the set considering it’s for kids. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sound of each instrument. My daughter loves the xylophone so that was the main instrument I was looking for. The xylophone in this set is wonderfully tuned. Each color has its own note/tune which I appreciated to help her understand that each one is suppose to be different sound. Then all the other instruments are strong and well made. Invest in your kids arts passion with this set!

Cute set with lots of pieces and duplicates of many. My granddaughter and I play along when we sing or listen to music. Lots of fun bonding time, and a learning experience for her too.The pieces seem well made. Smooth edges, solid paint, good functionality. They seem like they'll be durable. Very good gift for a little one.

The media could not be loaded.  I don't even know where to start these instruments are amazing they each have there own sound which is amazing so many kids instrument sets nowadays all sound the same which can start to drive a parent a little batty. I bought this as a way for my daughter to express herself which can be hard for her with her autism she loves to count and say all of the colors and I love how she actually wants to play interactively. A bit after I ordered I got an ebook that had some games and a few songs we are currently working on Old MacDonald and I can't wait to have some friends over to try some of the music games.Pros: The Quality, The Quantity, The Easy Storage, The Teaching Opportunity, EVERYTHINGCons: um none!

when our toddler's music classes got cancelled due to covid-19, his teachers sent out a link to this product as a suggestion for how we could keep the music alive at home. they are very charming and good quality. my only complaint is that the paint on one did chip a little due to toddler roughness. but he is quite happily able to shake things in the air and bang them on everything in the house with no ill effects to anything but our ear drums, and maybe breakables were we foolish enough to leave those out for him.

I looked at a lot of instrument sets and was hesitant to pay this much at first but I'm glad I did! This set is colorful and well made, not plastic pieces like some of the others. Even with a young child's abuse, they'll last a long time. I bought a separate set of cymbals since they weren't included. Giving them to my 2 yr. old granddaughter at her birthday party this weekend and I know we'll have fun playing 'marching band'. I had a similar set for my kids 30 yrs. ago so it's refreshing to see there are still toys being made that don't involve batteries and a screen!

She lives to bang on all the parts- not sure how the parents feel!!!!No, they actually love introduction to music to their little one.

It comes with a bunch of musical parts and they are brightly colored and mostly smooth. But the xylophone is not a scale. Doesn’t really matter when a toddler is banging on it, but it has a dissonant sound when played in a row.

I ordered this for my daughter to use in our at home preschool. The first kit arrived and we were happy with the quality until we got to the tambourine, which was cracked down one side. I emailed customer service and they replied quickly and sent out an entirely new kit and allowed us to keep the first full kit. We just got the new set today and the tambourine in this set is completely different than the first and looks more sturdy. My daughter absolutely loves music time. This set is a great introduction to music for kids.

I was very pleased with this item as I had read the reviews and some people said it was good. But once it was delivered I was very pleased and not disappointed. I gave it to my niece for Christmas and she loved it, so did daddy haha.
