I just received this item and tried it with my Yoga 910. This sleeve has not failed me in terms of water repelling capability. I poured some water on the front pockets side and wiped it after a few seconds; there was some damp mark remained on the site, but the pocket stayed dry internally. The second time I poured more water near the same sight and let it soak for 20 minutes. The inside became a bit cool to the touch, but my fingers didn't get wet. I took a few pictures: the middle shows the beginning of 2nd water test and last is after 20 minutes.

After using this product in everyday life for the past few weeks, I can say that this is a dependable product. I recently got a new laptop for university, and I was looking for a dependable sleeve to further protect it while being transported in my main backpack. I'm pretty rough with my backpack, and I am worried that the padding in its laptop compartment would not be enough to protect the laptop itself. Hence why I got this sleeve.My main requirements for the sleeve was water resistance, general build quality, fit, and being able to carry accessories.The water resistance was good enough. I tested it by placing a sheet of paper in each of the compartments, and sprinkling water on the main surfaces. The water does not penetrate through the fabric, however, some the water does seep through the zippers. This sleeve should survive a couple splashes in the rain, but make sure not to throw it into the pool.The build quality I would give a 4.5/5. The fabric material on the outside is very nice, and does a decent job repelling water from my water test above. Beneath the outside fabric material is a water resistant plastic lining that does most of the work keeping the water out. Inside of the main compartment, there is a fabric divider, with one side being a microfiber material, and the other being the plastic liner material. The microfiber is very soft to the touch, and is great for storing touch screen devices like tablets, or any other devices that you want to keep scratch-free. The three accessory pouches are lined with the plastic liner material as well. All of the zippers are very smooth at the moment, and none have snagged at all. However, the one thing that I am concerned about is the fabric handle at the top. It is made out of the same material as the outside of the case, but there is no other reinforcing material on it. I would have liked to have seen it made out of a thicker or more durable material, but only time can tell on the longevity of the device. The stitching on the case is also very good with no visible fraying or areas where it could be undone. However, only prolonged use can really test the strength of the stitching and handle. The padding itself I feel is satisfactory as well. Your laptop would probably survive a couple foot fall with this on it. However, there is no "hard" padding on the case at all, so I would steer clear from more substantial drops if possible.The size and fit of the case itself I would give 4.5/5. I have the Dell Latitude E5450 laptop; a modest 14" business laptop, and it fits in their very well. The laptop slides in and out very nicely, while also managing to keep the laptop secure and snug during transport. Though this size will probably not fit 15.6" laptops, any modern 14" laptop will be just fine. There is also a little bit of wiggle room in the case for me to be able to store possible another folder or tablet.The accessory pouches I would give a 5/5. Given the nature of this case/sleeve, I was surprised at what I could fit inside of it. I was able to not only put my laptop in it, but also it power adapter, a small travel mouse, a battery bank, and a couple flash drives. Shown in the pictures are what I usually carry in the case on an average day. Being able to carry everything I need for my laptop in the case itself is a godsend to me.Overall, for under $20 this is probably the best laptop case/sleeve you can get. Users with Macbooks and Windows ultrabooks/notebooks will have no problem using this product. Concerns about the construction of the case in the long run can only be tested with time and usage. If you are looking for a little more protection on your everyday on-the-go laptop, then definitely give CaseBuy a shot.

I was looking for a case that would protect my daughters Chromebook that travels with her to and from school each day. This made the cut. She’s not the most gentle and this case has probably saved the Chromebook on each bus ride. I chose this case specifically because of the zipper and handle placement. For some reason lots of cases had the zipper on the bottom and the handle on the top and with those I could totally see my daughter slipping the Chromebook in, getting distracted, then grabbing the handle to go and having the Chromebook hit the floor. This case has the handle along the side and I feel it’s a better design. It’s padded and has extra pockets though they are small. So far her Chromebook still looks brand new and I believe it’s because of the quality of this case; because it’s definitely not the special, careful care that she’s given to it. :)

I bought this 3 pocket sleeve for my Acer 15.6" laptop. Unlike the backpack I ordered that claimed to fit my laptop size, THIS sleeve fits my laptop very nicely. The pockets along the side won't fit a whole lot, cords, other compact electronics, a small paper note pad, and yes a basic mouse, which is good for a sleeve this size. My Anker Ergonomic bluetooth mouse does fit, but because of its different shape it has to go inside the main compartment and creates a little bit of an awkward bulk- but it works. I am glad they put a divider in the main compartment because instead of storing my cords in the pockets I have a 9"x7.5" cord organizer and it doesn't fit in any of the 3 pockets- it goes with the mouse into the main compartment. So personally, the pockets outside so far don't have a lot of purpose for me. I like where the handle is placed and the whole bag seems very sturdy. It's a great value and I plan to put it through its paces, so as long as it does its job I'll leave it at a 5 star review.

I finally found it, a case that actually fits my Lenovo X1 Extreme! This isn't so tight that I have to drag the zippers over the corners but fits inide the case, corners protected by the padding and not the zipper.The X1E has been particularly difficult as its a little bigger than 15" Macbook size and bigger than the XPS15.This sleeve has a pocket inside the main sleeve that is lined with plush velour, it will fit in the pocket but definitely not a drop it in type of effort, I had to slowly wiggle it in. Otherwise on the outside, the fabric might be water repellent but these zippers are not the water resistant type. Don't rely on it to protect your computer from rain. The zippers have nice big pull tabs and the ones on the front can be tucked away and hidden easily.

Perfect for my chromebook and to hold another small tablet, plus the pockets on the outside are useful for pens, notes etc. Love the handle on the end too.
