I have your typical 13lb di ionizer the hole size was perfect and having the oversized funnel made pouring the new bag into it very easy. The funnels that come with the new resin refill bags are very small and basically usless. If you want to make your life easier it is a must buy..

The "freeze drying channels" sell similar funnels for more-than-they're-worth prices. The is much cheaper and does a good job. Fits into a canning jar, and makes things much easier for me.

Easy to replace the resin in your softener with this funnel.

Perfect size but it's very thin cheap plastic, gets the job done that I need if for.

The media could not be loaded.  I am using this to transfer food from my medium freeze drier trays into jars or Mylar bags and it works great. It’s wide enough for the whole narrow part of the tray for easy transfer of foods.

A little pricey for a piece of plastic but it sure makes filling the softwater unit with resin so much easier. No mess. You still have to "tamp" around to get the resin media into the unit but there is no resin scatter around the garage floor. It keeps you safe because the resin beads are like miniature ball bearings. The funnel keeps spillage to a minimum or non-existent.

This is obviously NOT worth what you are paying. A flimsy piece of plastic that I bet cost 25 cents to make, but it does what I want, just way over priced.

Weekend for bushels of pickled beets and this funnel made it so much easier. It’s big enough that you don’t have to be really careful to hit the funnel like you do with most canning funnels. This is wonderful and it’s sturdy. I think I’ll buy another one just to have.
