False advertising
If you are looking for a slider mat for free motion quilting, keep going - this isn't it, no matter what the description says. Very thin, not slick at all. Seems to be more for keeping track of angles while sewing. I took one look at it, put it back in the package, and am returning it.

Cheaply made
Not like I expected. Very poorly made. Packaging had it rolled up. Will not lay flat after taking it out even after it was layed out for a long period of time.

It’s definitely not a Sew Steady or Supreme Slider
It’s definitely not a sew steady mat and nowhere near a supreme slider. It’s very thin and does not have a slick feel. I’ve found my quilts tend to not slide very well, especially when doing ruler work. I probably will be returning this. It probably would be fine for someone new to sewing who needs a longer guideline for a scant 1/4 inch, but a short stack of sticky notes or a couple layers of painters tape would work even better.

It’s ok
I have an old singer15-91 in a table and the hinges prevent the slider mat from laying flat. Also, the bottom peels up with my fabric and it is just not as helpful as i thought it would be. Maybe if I had a flat surface…

Beautiful and colorful cover!
This was for my niece who just came back from Jamaica for her Kindle but it does not fit! I had it shipped directly to her in Maine! By the time I got it back here, it was passed the time allowed to return!

Okay
Wasn’t that happy with as it seemed that it would shift

Do not buy. Go with the Sew Steady Glider!
This was a purchase mistake on my part. I thought it might be a reasonable substitute for my ~15 yr old Sew Steady Free Motion Glider. This item provided a surface that was LESS slippery than the base surface of my plastic and metal sewing machine — so much less slippery that it actually seemed to grab the fabric! It’s a strange product and included a second piece that seemed to be just a smaller version of the big piece. There were detailed but complicated instructions for how to use the small version for sewing 1/4” seams on the straight and on the diagonal but nothing at all for the larger piece with different marked lines. This function was not well described in the product description on Amazon. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone actually using it for that purpose though since there are so many other ways to sew good seams for quilting.I made the mistake of zeroing in on the word “glide” in the description. Big oops! No “glide” here.A word about my Sew Steady glider: The ONLY reason I am replacing it is because after all those years of voluminous free motion quilting for competition it still sticks to my machine bed and table as well as the day it came out of the package. I have been careless enough times, though, not getting it aligned correctly that the needle opening is chewed to pieces! Even that doesn’t stop it from working as it’s supposed to. Those chewed up edges have never caught on my fabric and none of the other edges have either. I have never even thought of taping the edges down as some commenters have. Just in case the new Sew Steady isn’t up to the standards of the original one — I’m keeping the old chewed up one!
