Beautiful tank, not for a bio active environment
This was purchased because my brother gave me a booted dragon. I had to learn everything about Beta dragons. And so I did down to the substrate. Ruby is her name and she was coupled with another bearded dragon who was not letting her eat so my brother gave me ruby. It took me weeks to get everything she needed before he brought her over including lights, food, accessories. Well I was looking for a tank that would go aesthetically with my house. I have always loved wood and I love the look of this tank. No , it does not have a front open and had glass cut for both sides Because I wanted have Ruby in an open environment. Well, I could see her in the kitchen and in the living room. I took the Acrylic glass and wood laminate piece and gave it to the glass cutter and they cut it exactly to size. This really opened up the tank. I also decided ongoing with tile.So I did a mosaic Tile bottom myself. I research that having a sand substrate which is What my brother currently had was not the best substrate. I figured since it came from a sand tank I would just buy a sand box Is entrain ruby to go in there. It's been pretty successful so far. Ruby goes in the sand box by itself. A lot of the accessories that you see in the tank were purchased on amazon. I am pretty satisfied with a tank. It's aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Where where the vent is?I cut out some holes so the wires could run through the side. All of the lights work. I installed my u v light on the inside of the tank in the middle. Works out pretty perfect. FYI, the lid that closes that has the acrylic glass in it is not removable. I love the glass option.I created for this tank.Bearded dragons when they glass surface will scratch the acrylic easily. This is why I opted for the glass to be on both sides. The sides to this tank.In my opinion, we're very basic but not something I would use longterm. Ruby was small when I got her And I wanted this tank to be a long term tank for her.

Need one more holes to support
Overall it looks pretty cool! The color looks unique than most of tank. The acrylic material is not as strong if the turtle is a little bigger, or if it is raising lizards. Scratches and hardness can be a problem. In addition, three lamps are usually used, because the brightness and distance can not be controlled, it is recommended to change to a small wattage

So far, love them
These are absolutely wonderful. So far, so good. Super easy to put together and our dragons love their new homes. I love that they have the modern look and that the lights are inside and not on top. I’m hoping these last. The one and only thing i hated was the packaging. The Styrofoam fell apart soooooo easily. I took me about 45 minutes to clean up my house because the little pieces were EVERYWHERE!

Super disappointed in this
The media could not be loaded. I’m a very hands-on person and I love building and even assembling things, but this was crazy. I thought it was me or I had somehow messed up the screws but the parts simply don’t line up because of where the screw holes were incorrectly placed so putting the base & sides together leaves a back and front that will not fit in to their space, and therefore no cage for my beardie. Additionally, there was a sticky white film all over the electric parts, including the plug, which look crazy and a little scary. One of the wires was entirely disconnected, which I’m sure would be a simple fix also but with all of these things together, I am absolutely not trusting my beardie in it. Even if I readjusted the placement of the screws, which would be super difficult because of how close they would have to be and likely, just cause it to be completely unstable, there is no way I would trust plugging that thing in. I ordered a replacement and hope for the best, but if there is any ounce of doubt, it will be going straight back despite very credible people giving this product fantastic reviews. It seems that when it works, it works, but if it doesn’t, it really doesn’t.

Unsure
So this was not hard to assemble. It's plexiglass and narrow top open. Not a lot of ventilation. I like the fact light fixtures were on inside but switches glitch and too big and bothersome to return. You'd have to disassemble which would be a pain and time consuming.... Manufacturers count on that.... But it's serving purpose right now however wouldn't buy again.
