Exactly what I have been looking for
I have had the plastic iron and ironing board holders over the years that crack and break and end up in the trash. This is made of metal and wood. It is not only sturdy and roomy but, decorative. The price was 10 bucks less than I paid for the last plastic one I bought. I am very happy.

it is useful but limited
It was relatively easy to put it on the door. I would have preferred to have the central piece held with a screw instead of simply "sitting" on the bar. We tried to use a wrench to tighten it so it didn't slip off, but that didn't work. The place for the iron is small as stated in the description. I had to buy 3 irons before I found one that fit. This ironing board holder was the only one that worked with the new ironing board that I recently purchased. I had to have 10 inches or less for the bar that allows the base of the ironing board to "sit on it." My current one is much stronger, but it needed a 12 inch "bar". I will be keeping it but didn't think it would take multiple trips to stores and "looks" on Amazon to get an ironing board, holder, and a new iron. It is fairly flimsy, but it will be used for now.

Storage Saver
Literally a storage saver. Wanted to organize my laundry room. Tired of seeing the iron board lay against the wall. Great solution. I still worry when we use the iron and placing it back on the door. So we do let it cool down on the floor first. But definitely a storage saver! Easy to install.
