Manual VERY helpful!!!
Works great for checking temps in my various terrariums. The list of different emissivities for different surfaces is really helpful in getting the most accurate reads in the different cages. There are YOUTUBE videos too on how to use it, but I didn't watch them. But it's good to know I can go look if I have a problem. I had an old ReptiPro infrared thermometer and the last time I went to use it all the readings were insanely wrong. I tried playing around with what I thought was the emiss. but it didn't help. Hence I got this one by ennoLogic. OH, it comes with a case to carry it in!

Great product, even better customer service
They stand behind their product. Owned e1050D for four years. Works great but one laser was really dim, which I lived with but became more of an issue recently. Even after 4 years, they stood behind their product and replaced the thermometer in a couple of days. I really appreciated that it was so easy to resolve.

Good instant read unit.
Works as it's supposed to. Be sure you look in the booklet to set the parameters correct for the surface characteristics of what you want the temperature of.I purchased this one due to the high temperature it can read (up to). Looking to use this once I have my forge fully setup. More for the heat treat/temper process.Used it to get the temperature of water for proofing yeast. Faster reading than using a physical thermometer.

Good value, does the job
Good value, does the job. I use it both for checking out wetness in drywall and checking the temperatures for cold process soap making

Great, accurate IR thermometer
I have used this instrument several times since purchase and have checked it, where possible, against other thermometers and it does an outstanding job at a very reasonable price! It is accurate, easy to use AND reliable. It has a great carrying pouch and a small user manual that contains tables of emissivity values so the readings are pretty acccurate. You would NOT make a mistake buying this instrument.

Very useful and practical tool to have
Very useful and practical tool to have! I use it in metalsmithing when I'm annealing metal, soldering joints or I just want to be sure not to get too close to its melting point. Working with different types of silver solder (easy, medium, hard, etc.), I can quickly check if I'm getting closer to the flow point of the solder. I also use it to check any cooling hot metal I may have fired in the kiln or soldered just to make sure it's safe to handle so I won't get burned.

This is a fine tool.
This was way over do for me. I use it in my shop for welding cast iron 500+ degs. before welding. My girlfriend uses it in her eco dying. She's an artist. I bet it gets used almost every day. . I've been using the tool for a couple of years now. No complaints.

Handy tool
Slick device, handy in a number of ways. Helped me find areas of my wall where the insulation isn't thick enough; told me my wine bottles were at the right temp even when the wine cabinet wasn't working quite right; helps me gauge the time to start cooking a steak on the grill. Sure, you could live without it but it's a handy tool and good to have even if only used sporadically.

Articolo eccellente, venditore NO
