I THOUGHT MODIFYING MY "FOOD-LIFESTYLE" WOULD BE DIFFICULT- This is Easy as 1-2-3 !!!
I've just begun to read this, but I am trying to balance my system for greater health and immune support.. trying to build the Alkaline up to kill the Yeast and poor Nutritional absorption.. This book looks like it will be a Great Aid- To assist in reaching my Goals!! It is filled with many charts to tell you what foods are more acidic, and which are more alkaline, as well as how to gradually change your Dietary Lifestyle to be a Much Healthier One.. In hopes of increasing the Reader's Longevity... It has 3 stages, and says don't go to the next stage before at least 4 weeks, and not until you have made a successful modification in the areas of need.. then go on to stage 2 .. and what to expect.. then to stage 3 .. it is VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER, And like I said, is full of charts, instructing you to substitute this for this, and what are the Health builders, which help to Detoxify etc. ... and the Potential Health Risk Contributors... I thought it was going to be much harder to acclimate to a healthier style of food choices and habits.. but this book has it broken down for the average 6th grader to fully comprehend! Highly Recommend!

Love this book. I bought it in the past and have bought it a couple of other times because I have given my copy away and I have ordered it for other people. Highly recommend it.

pH Balance Diet
This is not a huge book, but the authors manage to pack in a lot of information. The introduction provides a concise, clear explanation of what an alkaline diet is, what it does for you, and the health consequences of a too-acid diet (with a list of common symptoms).Chapter 1 describes three levels of the pH Balance Diet. The first level is for the beginner, with small incremental changes to their normal diet. Level 2 has more changes until at Level 3 you are eating and drinking 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods. Each level is described carefully, and an easy reference table and diagrams help you quickly get the information you need for the day.Chapter 2 is a compendium of the best foods for an alkalizing diet, in alphabetical order. The benefits of each item are described and tips given on cooking or preparation. There is also a quick reference table provided.Chapter 3 has some recipes in the usual categories (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and juices). This is not really a cookbook so there are limited recipes, but it gives an idea of what can be done.Chapter 4 gives instructions on how to test your pH level. I didn't really try this chapter myself because it was my doctor who recommended this diet for me and I really didn't feel like messing with this.Chapter 5 gives more information about the benefits of this diet. Amazing to learn that milk is NOT the best source of calcium at all, but rather the green vegetables that so many Americans don't eat. The book has detailed information about osteoporosis and how to prevent and reverse it through alkalizing your diet. It also helps tons with fibromyalgia pain, and chronic fatigue.All in all, a small book packed with a lot of information. I recommend it for anyone who wants a quick reference into this topic.

Restoring Balance
I've been very ill lately and apparently for quite a while I'm hopeing the this will help me to get well again. I needed to bring my ph up quite a ways and didn't realize I had been so ill for so long and this isn't something that you can get over by taking a pill and it will go away. It takes months for it to show up it will take months to get myself better. This book has helped me so much and I had no idea that this was a problem. I am losing weight, my stomach isn't burning and I feel so much better with more stamina and a positive outlook. Thank you for the book and I will be able to share it with others who may have the same problems I have had.

PH Balance
This is the best pH balance book. The charts are useful and it gives detail information on which food is acid or alkaline. It does not tell you to change your diet but rather add to your current diet. HIghly recommend.

Health help is not always take more medicine.
So many people, including doctors, don't realize the importance of keeping a body's alkaline/acid ratio in balance to fight colds, infections and diseases. However, we meticulously keep our pool water in balance to inhibit the growth of algae and bacteria...to keep swimmers from getting infections! We should really consider this and the PH Balance Diet provides so much simple and logical information to help us make healthier choices. I'm so glad I read it because taking some action to become less acidic has already helped with a couple of my developing issues.

Informative, why specific foods are a good choice
Very informative. Clearly explains it all. Detailed info on WHY many recommended food are actually so good for you. Nest I have found. Had read from library but so good I wanted my own copy to write in for reference.

For me the information, especially food groups 1 and 2 could be better utilized if the recipes were immediately along side instead of elsewhere. Once at the other location, there are many foods I/We never ate or only on rare occasions throughout the year that is said to build uric acid. We wanted to learn more about incorporating the right vegetables in balance with i.e., fish (baked, broiled or fried); chicken (baked, broiled or fried), portion size (oz), etc. but not really getting a clear picture. I/We feel there's more on the subject of Acid than on Alkaline. Not saying its all on the writer, but I feel a book is a way of learning what we don't kow and should not require additional research unless its provided in the Appendix or.......I/we did/do appreciate the other information provided and continue to seek more Alkaline foods and how they should be prepared. How many meals a day, etc.

Very interesting book. Easy to read. Promotes my healthy eating habits. I would definitely recommend it anybody to read.

I recently purchased this book. I found it informative and entertaining. It was easy to follow and refer to. It was so fabulous that I brought another copy and sent it to my mother in Australia who has also changed her eating habits due to the influence of this great read.

Brilliant very informative and I coursing I love the fact that it takes things in stages to prevent you from crashing in the efforts to change to this much more healthy lifestyle which is much more beneficial for he body. Would recommend
