These don't fit beer/grolsch bottles
These are ok bottle brushes. I bought mine to use in both water bottles and beer/grolsch bottles that I use for kombucha. First thing is, they will not fit in the beer bottles. This was my mistake because I didn't realize the opening of those bottles are actually a little smaller than one inch. It looks as though others have made the same mistake. If you're looking for a brush for a bottle like that, be specific in your search. I did find with that, a set of 4 brushes where the two larger ones have a rounded top, so you'll be able to sufficiently clean the bottom of the bottles. That's the second thing that could be better about this set. I don't think that other set would be wide enough though, for a water bottle.Of course, when you pull this brush out of the bottle, it'll spatter all over you and everything else around. That really bugs me because anything clean gets soapy... plus I wear glasses and they get that way too. I've tried holding the bottle upside-down to remove it, but that's pretty hard to do because it's so long, as are the bottles. So, I figured out a way to solve this problem. When you remove the brush, hold your hand (open at the bottle side) around the neck of the bottle and keep switching hands until you're completed. I guess this is a minor issue, but I hate having to clean up... again.Overall, there are better brushes out there... but I know these are priced well.

A few weeks ago my wife and I sat down to enjoy one of my latest brews
As a homebrewer with eczema, the 2 pack of these brushes is a dual purpose life saver. I use one brush to clean my homebrew bottles, and the other to file away the dead skin from my eczema. A few weeks ago my wife and I sat down to enjoy one of my latest brews, and she started complaining about the beer being littered with yeast and leftover hop material. The thing is, my beer is always filtered and clear. Then it hit me...Oh my god, I cleaned these bottles with my eczema brush. My wife still thinks it was just a bad beer, and my eczema is getting better. 4 stars.

Best practical purchase in years!!!
Super wonderful bottle brushes! Can't believe a simple item like this can make such a big difference. They're extra long and full for scrubbing out the bottom of hard to clean bottles of all kinds. I have found that using the two brushes together even reaches and scrubs away the scum at the outer edges of the bottom of the bottle. I'm a very happy customer and plan to purchase these as stocking stuffers this next Christmas for my daughters!

These are great cleaners for swell bottles with the small opening
These are great cleaners for swell bottles with the small opening. I bought a similar product at the grocery store but the bristles were very stiff and I would get sprayed with water each time I pulled it out of the bottle. These bristles are very soft and don't do that when you pull the brush out of the bottle. Very happy.

and be less good at tackling the bottom of bottles
Doesn't take long for the tip of this to get 'flat', and be less good at tackling the bottom of bottles. Good thing this came with 2! When taking this out of a narrow-necked bottle, it will splash soap all over the place. Though, this would probably happen with all brushes.

Best Deal I Could Find
It was impossible to find a brush in the small town were I live. These are a good deal an work on all my bottles even the groelsh style. It appears they will last a long time. Gave one to a friend who is brewing in these kind of bottles.
