Revolutionary Kitchen Technology
I love my Brava, but I almost did not purchase a Brava after reading the lukewarm and mixed professional reviews available online. The Brava is highly underrated. It makes cooking healthy meals fast and minimizes dishes. The last kitchen appliance that I got this excited about was my Instant Pot. The Brava oven has quickly become an essential kitchen appliance in my house.Meat without Smoke or OilI purchased a Brava as a multipurpose device that allows me to quickly cook healthy food. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to cook steak without setting off my smoke alarm. The Brava achieves an impressive sear without preheating, with meat straight out of the fridge, produces no smoke and does not require oil on the meat. It cooks faster with no smoke and less clean up than my other kitchen appliances. It will even allow me to cook a medium well steak for my husband without filling the room with smoke. The only other device that I am aware of that will do that is a sous vide, and I don’t like the idea of cooking in plastic.Fewer DishesThree zone cooking is another one of my favorite features. With 5 minutes of prep time & 15 minutes of cooking time, I can cook yellow potatoes, broccoli and fish or steak simultaneously. Then I only have one pan and one bowl to wash. That’s amazing.MultipurposeMy Brava replaces my convection oven/toaster, griddle, and air fryer.BaconI discovered oven cooked bacon a few months before I got my Brava and swore that I would never cook bacon any other way. The Brava is even better due to the lack of preheating.Customer ServiceThe customer service is responsive and helpful. My loaf pan arrived damaged. I got a response quickly, and they are sending a replacement.Learning Curve/Programed Options LimitationsAlthough the tutorial videos are excellent, there is a learning curve with this device. When using the programed options (which has the most efficient cooking), the zones must be filled properly to avoid over or undercooking. The programed options are primarily limited to seasoning with just salt/oil. It would be great to have guidelines on converting recipes like one can do with the Instant pot. I have used Chat GPT to help me with this a little. Of course, one can use the Brava like a standard oven or air fryer, but programed options are more efficient (faster cooking and no preheating). Some more basic programed options like sautéed onions or browned stew meat would be very useful.Temperature probeThe temperature probe is a pain to use due to the need to plug it in and tuck the wire. Then it must be unplugged (while hot). Unfortunately, the wireless version is backordered. I am hopeful that the wireless version is an improvement.Brava Glass vs Traditional BravaI purchased a traditional Brava due to the potential risk of infrared ocular damage with the Brava Glass. The traditional Brava oven has a camera that shows the internal contents on the top screen.

Fast, Convenient, Breeze to clean
I purchased this oven and kept all the boxes as I thought there was a chance that I'd return this item. I love it. Grease splatter from cooking hamburgers or bacon is minimal. I was blown away by how little grease there to clean was after cooking these items. The cleanup was far less than cooking on a stovetop.I was skeptical about simultaneously cooking steak, asparagus, and potatoes. That skepticism is over - it works and does it well. (photos) FYI - the steak juices migrate into the potatoes and vegetables making them - Mmmm even more delicious. I've cooked fried eggs that are incredible. I tweaked the time a bit less (I like soft yokes) and unlike me, it remembered what I had set.The online recipes and cooking programs are easy to navigate and simple to follow, and they work surprisingly well. Reheating items is like oven reheating (pizza doesn't get soggy as in microwave cooking) and it's fast. No pre-heating is required. I've baked two pies and that works great (pre-heating is required). I've made grilled cheese (no flipping required) and it was excellent (photo). I made fruit leather that was as good as store-bought. If I could change anything, the glass is not worth the $$, but it does look cool. The camera inside the oven is a better view than looking through the glass. Plus, what the camera sees is sent to your phone using the app. Alerts (to do something like flip the burgers) come across on my iWatch, so you don't have to hover around this oven. I love this. If you are an RV traveler, you could get rid of everything else but the blender and coffee pot.Pros:No pre-heat time (unless you're using it as an oven)Fast cook times (6min for 4 slices of crispy bacon)Breeze to clean (much less mess than stovetop cooking)Pans are even easier to cleanCookware has the best non-stick surface I've ever used (better than my All-clad D5)Online recipes and pre-programmed cooking times/instructions are convenient and easy to followCons:The oven is small and meant for 1-2 people. Don't buy this and expect to feed a family. (although you could)Unless you're into looks, there is no need to get the glass front. The camera is all you need.Get the wireless temperature probe - the wired one is cumbersome and awkward to use.PriceIt's new (IR) cooking technology and that is usually expensive. When these get <$500, it will be like folks discovering a microwave for the very first time. I would recommend this product.

Don’t Buy!
The his company was very hard to deal with ,arrived defective and I had to pay for my own return of $210 and company doesn’t respond to resolve the issue. Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a company on Amazon.

FAST, SIMPLE, EASY TO USE
I was skeptical but Brava came highly recommended from friends and family.I’m a mom of a ten month old and two year old, live in a small apartment with limited counter space and have little or no time to cook healthy food for myself or my husband. The Brava arrived, I took it out of the box and plugged it in. No assembly required. I turned it on, put in my wifi password and immediately found a recipe on the smart touch screen which gave me simple step by step directions for how to prep and cook the food. I pressed the start button and took a shower while my steak, sweet potatoes and broccoli were cooked to perfection. The clean up is so easy. The non stick pan is easy to wash and the oven wipes clean with a damp rag (careful not to press on the bulbs or they might break). I have had the Brava for a few weeks now and use it every single day and for every meal. It has replaced my toaster, oven and microwave. There are so many options for how to cook and what to cook I’m constantly trying new things. New recipes are automatically uploaded to the Brava and the Brava app which allows me to browse thousands of recipes on my phone while out and about. I ordered the starter set but definitely recommend getting the accessories. This has changed my life!!! I am eating gourmet food every day.
