I use it in my green tea with ginger, lime, and honey. Also for flavor in cooking tofu and chicken along with, garlic, ginger, tamari, rice vinegar, and a touch oh balsamic vinegar.

I have always bought my tumeric from this seller. The packaging is not super great but i always receive it within few days after my order is placed. The taste is actually great eaten raw! Which is a big plus! I recently found some raw tumeric at the farmers market near my house, so i bought it since it was a bit cheaper and i dont need 1 lbs, just a few ounces every month. But the one i bought was too bitter. I cant wait to finish that and buy this tumeric again.I wrote a review hopefully so that the quality and price stays the same..i hate it when the seller on amazon starts lowering quality to make more money!Also, i normally use it so that i feel energetic whenever i fast, i drink tumeric milk the night before and it helps me go through the day. For starters, an amount just as big as your thumb is enough, go a bit more or less depends on how you feel. Also, theres is some side effect, tumeric is a really powerful herb. The biggest side effect that i noticed is loss in appetite and feeling a bit restless. But then i just stop in for a while and start taking it again. I drink it for increasing metabolism and feeling energetic and motivated to go through the day.

All the nubs were removed from the fingers, so the freshness had already been withering. Taste and spiciness were low due to the nub removal. Won't buy it again.

This product is the best! The roots came clean and fresh,so much better than what I have bought in the store. I will be buying again from this vendor.
