Transformers Optimus Prime Mp-04 Masterpiece Convoy With Trailer

For me is the best Optimus Prime figure. The size is great and the cabin is very heavy. Is a little expensive but any collector have to had it.

Takara's MP-4 Convoy with Trailer is the best Optimus Prime ever made. He stands a full foot tall. The Legs and chest are die cast. The plastic is heavy duty. The toy weighs several pounds as a result. Also comes with the long transforming trailer (absent Roller the mini car).The smokestacks are long (in the Hasbro version they are short) and both the stacks and gas tanks on each leg are coated in a shiny silver plastic (rather than the dull grey used in the Hasbro verson).The transformation is much more complex, but can be learned by following the photo directions.The main blaster weapon is silver, but Prime also comes with his orange energon ax from the cartoon, and a small non-transformable Megatron in gun mode as used by Prime in one episode of the 1980's cartoon.Prime also comes with the Autobot Matrix of leadership in his chest, which brightly lights up when inside his chest cavity by pushing a button located on top of his cab.Both his robot and truck modes are detailed to look just like the cartoon/comic/movie version of Prime. Very easily posed. No doubt the best Transformer ever made or offered on the market today.

I am a big fan of Transformers. In fact, I have more than 300 Transformers toys all over my bedroom! So yeah, I don't know why, but there is something special that attracts me on cool robots that transform into cool things.Anyways, I got this guy at the beggining of the year and what can I say about it? I am not sure, since that any word to describe it wouldn't be even close to "enough" of saying how perfect and mind-blowing is this "toy". In fact, I think the name "toy" is an offense to this. The perfect name is, like it says in the box: A MASTERPIECE.It is just so great that there is only one way to describe it: If you are a true Transformers fan, then YOU MUST HAVE THIS GUY- No matter the cost.

"Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost." Optimus Prime Masterpiece-04 is a transformer that all diehard 80's transfomers fans should have in there collection. I've been waiting to get this for a long time. Optimus Prime is one of the main reasons why the 80't cartoon show was so sucessful and when people hear the word "Transformer" most of the time he is the first to pop in their minds. The leader of the autobots is just as great as ever before. Made out of part metal and plastic this adult toy is just super-tight. Comes complete with laser gun, megatron gun, laser battle axe, trailer, and the removable autobot matrix equipted in his chest. The transformation seems difficult at first, but is actuall easy and intintive after doing it about twice.I'm going to by the Starscream MP-03 next and I also heard of a Megatron MP-05 coming soon that transforms into an oversized MP38. I hoping the Takara comes out with a lot more of these. I would love to see a MasterPiece Soundwave, Ironhide, and all the constructacons the form a huge devestator. From other reviews I believe that the Starscream MP-03 will be as good as the Optimus Prime MP-04. "Autobots transform and rollout."

Awesome the best toy I own. Its 1984 all over again.
