Fall into organic heaven each night as you drift off knowing that 100% of your fluffy pillow was grown organically. Wouldn't buy again
The pillow is 100% organic cotton that's the great news! I need a non-chemical pillow. Crazy that we have so few natural choices. But this pillow isn't perfect. Cotton is not buoyant, and it gets hard and dense pretty quickly.

Cotton Clouds with a zipper.
Did I really want to spend this much on a pillow? With all of the decisive reviews, it was a hard decision. Pillow comfort is a fairly personal preference. Just as an FYI, I've liked solid memory foam pillows in the past. I like something with a firm structure but still not rock hard.I went to a number of stores that sell pillows. All of them were either solid memory foam, fiber fill, or shredded foam. The organic pillows all seemed to be a fiber fill with an organic cover. Most of those were around the same price or more than the Magnolia Organics pillow. Another "organic pillow" on Amazon mentioned having a zipper so you could adjust the firmness and thickness. We had already tried some of the Magnolia Organics sheets and they are wearing very well. So I took the gamble. When it arrived, it was fully enclosed in a tough plastic bag to keep it from getting dirty or contaminated in shipping. When I removed the pillow, I did notice a fairly strong "straight from the cotton field" smell. You have been to a cotton field haven't you?I took the suggestion of putting it in the dryer. We have some organic wool dryer balls that we normally dampen with warm water and add a drop or two of Young Living’s Purification essential oil. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a scent that’s a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm, so I also added a drop of that to the dryer balls.I've slept on the pillow for a week now and love it. I can bunch it up or flatten it down.

Great filling, rough cover
I’ve had this pillow for about 3 months now. The interior of the pillow is exactly what I wanted.. simple pure cotton. The exterior case of the pillow however, while also cotton (I think), is very rough.. almost like a burlap. I keep hoping it will soften up over time. Maybe I will try washing it, but I am afraid that will destroy the shape of the pillow since I would have to pull out all of the cotton. The case is also somewhat noisy when you run you hand over it - and when you move your head. Not a fan and wish they had used a finer more tightly woven material for the cover.

Not easy to wash
I have had this pillow for 2 years. I loved it. Sometimes it would get hard, but I could fix it. I recently took it to a hotel. When we returned home, I wanted to wash it. I don't know what happened, but water (a LOT) stayed trapped inside the pillow case, soaking the cotton. It was so heavy that I had to physically press and squeeze water out of the corner of the case, that I opened with the zipper. I have now tried for about 4 hours, to dry it in my (new/wonderful/efficient) dryer, and it still isn't dry. It smells strongly of the cotton seeds, and now the outside liner has yellow streaks from the liquid that was trapped in the cotton. Basically, it is still heavy, a huge clump inside that won't dry, and now the cover is stained and stinks. I am trying to contact the seller to see how I can salvage this expensive pillow.

Healthy, but Smelly
Took over a month for the smell (an earthy type smell) from not smelling up my toddler's room. We finally left it uncovered near a window for about 9 days while we were out of town, and that possibly did the trick. Otherwise, it seems comfortable for her, and I love the healthy/natural materials, which is why I got this pillow.I also got the King version for myself. It's been mixed for me. No smell, but at times it clumps up and has zero support. But lately I've been sleeping well with it, so maybe I've turned a corner, so hoping to make it work rather than switch to normal polyester pillow.

Comfy!
Comfortable pillow, not to soft and not too hard. I have not had long enough to see if it will hold out, which is why I did not give it 5 stars. The company says you can put it outside in the sun to help fluff it up if needed. Only bought one to see how I liked it. If I still like it after a few months, I would repeat purchase.

Mixed feelings
I like my pillow. I'm so happy to find something that's all natural, without chemicals. The only thing is that for the money, I feel like there should be more cotton in there?...or something. The 1st couple of weeks, it was fine but now, it gets too flat & no way to really fluff it up. Mixed feelings, though I am sleeping well, except when it gets "flattish" & i wake up & have to squish it together to make it a little thicker again. I'll have to see how it holds up with a little more time.

Wanted to like it, but...
I really wanted to like this, but I had to send it back. It didn’t provide any head support. Maybe if it had more cotton shoved inside you could fluff it under your head better, but as is- it didn’t do much. Also since it’s all organic cotton, the zip-able pillow cover was like canvas. Hard to snuggle up with. The cover wasn’t very soft and the actual pillow with the stuffing was too soft. Felt like my head sunk right to be bed.
