Fantastic Product
This is the absolute best stuff!! It is easy to apply (a little goes a long way) and is great to use for tape or transparent adhesive dressings. Does not get sticky like a lot of skin barriers do. Don't over apply or it gets flaky which does not hurt anything just a little messy.

Disappointed it didn't solve my problem
My intent was to use "Tape Relief" under a Nasal Strip because, when removing the breathe strip...my skin is also being removed. My skin is so irritated by the adhesive on the strip that I no longer am able to use the strips even though they work perfectly. I felt Tape Relief was expensive, but I was willing to try it hoping it would solve my original (nasal strip) problem.

Prevents rashes, blisters, itching and irritation.
I sometimes have terrible back pains for which I use athletic and Kinesiology tape and every time I use that tape it leaves scars on my skin and also pulls out a lot of my skin when I take it off. When I saw this product I decided to try it. It works well. However I was wondering if it reduces the effect of the tape! If not then this is an excellent product to have. I have moaned in pain every time I have pulled my Kinesiology tape out.How it works is when you apply the lotion, which appears to be in a gel form, it dries up as a powder and provides a barrier between the tape and the skin. This is good for people having skin tags too. It is believed that organic Apple cider vinegar gets rid of tags but while it works it leaves scar marks around the surrounding area applied. When the cotton is dipped in vinegar and taped, it dries up the tag at the same time the surrounding area is effected too. So if this tape relief ointment is applied around the tag it will prevent the vinegar from reacting with the skin. This can also be useful for people who are allergic to adhesives or people with thin skin who require tape.I received this product in exchange for a fair and honest review.

It works
My wife, who has reactions to adhesives, said this stuff works pretty well and that bandaids aren't irritating her skin anymore.

Doesn't work
Bandage would not stick to skin when I used this. It was basically useless. That's why I am returning.

Tape Relief That Actually Works!
This product actually works and I was very surprised! I put the cream on my hand and rubbed it in, then I waited for it to dry a bit and then I applied a regular bandage on top. I left it on for a while, then proceeded to remove the bandage. It didn't even hurt. It just came off slowly. I love this product because it actually works and it does what it claims. The only issue I have is that it's not something that I would buy frequently, however you only use a tiny amount for every application which will last you a long time. In my opinion for me, it's not really needed but if you're looking for something to heal your wound and not be painful, this is your go to product! I love it and it does actually work!*I got this product for free in exchange for a review!* This is 100% my honest opinion about the product! #TapeRelief

Thank You for Making TapeRelief!
While going to Nursing School (RN) I did work in nursing homes / hospitals for years.I have seen many residents with paper thin skins. Unfortunately as we age this is almost inevitable. Using surgical tape on the elderly is incredibly risky, therefore. You never want to witness anyone of them ever getting a skin tear! It is absolutely horrible! Not to mention that it would create a new opening on the body where bacteria can easily enter. All in all; using tape CAN cause skin tears! When I first saw this product, I got very excited as my 73 year old father-in -law has a colostomy bag. Colostomy bags are really hectic, first of all they can leak if they are not glued on correctly. They are always "in the way, and you always have to change them every so often. The glue can irritate the skin. I saw patients whose skin had become "raw" in these areas, they would literally cry while we were trying to change their bags.Grandpaw has not had a chance to try this product yet, as he lives a few hours away from us. I cannot wait to give it to me! He does have very thin skin and I am sure he would very much appreciated. As he was not available "on-site" to test TapeRelief with me, I had decided to go ahead and test it on myself!I put a small amount of TapeRelief on the back of my hand; gently massaged it into my skin. Just within a minute my skin had started feeling drier. silkier, almost as if I had put a very thin layer of baby powder on it. Then I put a large band aid over my hand and waited a minute or two. When removing the band aid I did not experience any irritations. I did feel some pain, but it was not bad at all. No redness, no irritations. Please note that I received this product either free of charge or for a heavily discounted price. All opinions are my own.
