This could have been 5 stars
I recently decided to change up my small dogs pads as the Hartz brand arrived folded on the edges. I do not want to do extra work putting down a wee wee pad. So I tried Bulldogology. Absorbent A+, reduces smell A+, it’s a good size A+ for those of us who’s dogs like to circle the wagon. The one epic fail is the horrible sticky tapes. It’s a great idea, but really, when I need to use goo gone to remove glue for a dogs pad that’s a F-! Still I like the pads, so I do t use the tapes. Be warned, don’t try it or you will ruin your floors. Why not simply use a light adhesive that does not bond to wood or porcelain, like masking tape. It won’t move or ruin your floors. Just sayin…

Work GREAT NO SMELL
I LOVE these. I have a 60lb English bulldog. He has one dang place he is unable to stop himself from peeing/marking. Literally I can take him outside , he will pee gallons. Come back inside to the dining room where I have a chest freezer. He goes to pee right on the corner. I have used a dozen different brands , they either don't soak it up and it runs under the freezer right off the top of the pad. Then the smell 🤢! . To add to this for some reason when we put a fresh pad down, he thinks it just a cozy place to plop his body on to take a nap. Why, I do not know. Now, I know that HE KNOWS the pee stinks, he only lays on it while it's fresh and clean...brat! Anyhooow...These charcoal based pads not only hold all the liquid , they absorb the smell. Oh yesss. I forgot to mention, seeing as how my dog, loves to nap on the fresh new pad, he invariably MOVES the pad, crumbling it away from where it needs to be. So, that's why I need to mention, these pads have little sticky strips ...I put one on each corner of his pee post err...corner of the freezer, and the other two to the floor! They aren't quite top of the line sticky strips, but they sure help a lot. I'd give them 4.5 / 6 ****+.stars only for the sticky bads If you have a stubborn bulldog peeing brat dog like mine. BUY THESE PADS. They do cost a little more upfront ...they save money because I was using two at a time. These pads one is enough.

The tabs work!
My male pup hikes his leg to tinkle and I attach 2 of the tabs to the wall. I put a pad flat on the floor beneath it. I gave up on trying to stop him from hiking his leg and compromised. These pads and tabs actually work compared to others I’ve used.

Good, but not worth the higher pricece?
I just received two new very small breed puppies and needed some pads to aid in their house training. Although I’ve had many puppies and dogs in my life, it’s been 14 years since my last puppy, and I had never used pads. The breeder informed me these two were trained to go on newspaper already. I have a doggie door, but until they are big enough to go through that on their own, I want pads in case there isn’t someone to take them outside. Anyway, I did my research and these sounded like really good ones. The other brand I considered, you could get an optional special tray holder for the pad, which sounded good, but I went with these specifically because of the adhesive corners on the pads. I have tile and wood, so I figured I could just adhere the pads directly to my hard floors. Well, as I write this, the puppies are playing with one of the pads! Lol. Those so-called adhesive corners are a joke. The area of the adhesive is so small and barely sticky at all. Since I have all these now, I plan on using my own 2-sided tape to secure them to the floor. The breeder had sent a few white pads to us in our care package and I used those. I don’t know the brand at all. So that is my only comparison. Both seemed to absorb well with no leaking. Mind you, these are 10 week old toy breed puppies who weigh maybe 4 pounds, so when they pee, it is very little. So I don’t know how they would stand up to bigger dogs and puppies. My only other criticism is that since these are dark grey in color, I cannot tell as easily when someone has urinated on them vs the ones gifted to us. I had one in their pretty large pen where we keep them at night. I looked every day, but I saw nothing. The pen is by my bed, and today when I was laying there I could definitely smell urine, but I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, because I checked their bedding, etc. I decided to check the pad even though it looked brand new. And there it was! Poor babies had been using it, but I didn’t know!!! Maybe because they produce such a small amount it doesn’t show up as much or whatever. So I do not like that one bit. It would be great if, at the very least, the fabric would turn black or, better yet, a bright color when urinated on. Having said all that, I do think they are good pads, but are they worth the extra bucks for this brand and the charcoal and adhesive, especially when you can tape the corners, or more, down your own self and do a better job of it to boot? Nah. I will not be repurchasing these.

Totally Surprised!
I bought these for my geriatric cat. She has been using piddle pads for years. Could never find the reason for her not using the litter box all the time.I put several down for her use. I watched her pee on one. I pressed my finger on the spot. Wet and very smelly. We'll, after a few minutes, I touched the area again, and the top layer was much dryer, and much less stinky, just a very slight pee smell. I'm very impressed! Worth every penny!!

Not Sure Worth the Cost and Delivery Time
HOW LONG USING- Approx 3 weeksAGE OF DOG- 5 monthsON THE ADVICE OF A DOG TRAINERWe will only have 2 pads: one main pad that we move closer to the door, and a second mobile pad if we have our puppy in an area of the home that makes the main pad less accessibleBecause the puppy may not perceive a difference between a flat pad and a flat hardwood floor, we will be making a defined and different feeling area for the pads, such as a kitty litter type tub, or even a boot pad. We have actually ordered the Iris Puppy and Dog Training Pet Pad Holder which will a) create a defined and slightly raised space and b) hold the puppy pads so the dog cannot bite the edges. We will try cutting these Bulldogology pads to fit the holder.COSTApprox $0.82 per pad, vs. about $0.56 for the previous pads we had. Considering their performance (see below), I don't think these are worth the extra cost.DELIVERY TIMEIt took 20 days to receive these, so again considering their performance (see below), I don't think it was worth the wait.ATTRACTANT - DOES IT WORK?Does not seem to work that well, as our puppy is still going potty on the floor, not the pads, about 40% of the time.ADHESIVES - INSUFFICIENTI could not tell from the product info what the adhesives would be like. Unfortunately, there are only 4 sticky "tab" areas near each corner, just like our previous pads. So, again, I have to tape down the edges of the pads otherwise our puppy can bite and tear them. Why is there not a puppy pad with adhesive strips all the way around the edges, right on the edge so it is difficult for puppies to bite and pull at it?ODOUR ABSORBING - SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS PADSFrom a few feet away, it seems the urine smell is less noticeable with these pads than our previous pads.Up close, you can smell the urine.LIQUID ABSORBING - SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS PADSSeems about the same as our previous pad. It's fine, but the pads can stay wet for a number of hours.LEAK PROOF - SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS PADSSeem to be leak proof, same as previous pads

Great!
My puppy typically walks through his pee on pee pads. These absorb so fast that his paws are all clean! I’m so happy with this product.

Absorción. Los entrenadores vienen con pegamento en medio y al despegar se rompe la tela.
La absorción, pero el detalle del pegamento en medio hace que tenga escurrimiento por la rotura.
