This griddle in PERFECT on my gas grill. It has elevated sides, to hold in juices and/or marinades. It has a smooth interior for shifting, and stirring foods, while cooking and it even fits next to my larger (Lodge) griddle I make smash burgers on the larger and onions, peppers, etc. on this one. It heavy and made well. It comes with a substantial, removable handle for safety, so you can remove it from any heat source. I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!

I needed a pan to put on my grill so I could cook onions and peppers at the same time as I cook my fajita meat. This seem to fit the bill. However, I did not like the finish of the pan itself. I don't know what kind of a finish it is, but it does not seem to be a traditional seasoning. It was very tough, almost like an enamel coating.How tough? It was incredibly resistant to grinding with a grindstone on a drill. Regular seasoning is not like this.But in any case, I knew it was cast iron underneath, so I used my grindstones and sanding discs and I sanded it entirely bare. Then I wiped on grapeseed oil and did my own seasoning on high heat over the stove.It turned out beautifully.I have included three pictures. The first is the pan after I got everything stripped out and it is just bear rock cast-iron. The second is a picture as I am seasoning it on the stove top, and the third picture is when it is done.The handle may need a little filing so it goes into the pan a little easier, but I re-shaped it a bit and everything works perfect now. There was another review that addressed this, but a little filing will make it easier to insert.It was some work, but I'm glad I bought it.

First one I got was defective. Tried a second time. Same problem! what I received doesn’t work. The detachable handle is supposed to attach to both ends of the pan. But it won’t attach on one end because the cast iron is mishapen.Seller won’t respond to messages!
