This is easily the best electric space heater I have ever used, and I’m not quite sure how or why it is so much better.Quickly, I see a handful of reviews that state the auto on/off feature (thermostat, basically) does not work on their units. It works just fine, as advertised, on mine. I can only assume theirs was a defective unit or perhaps the software was updated since then. I’ve literally watched mine auto power down then shut off heat and turn back on a few minutes later. Being made in China, I can only assume inconsistent manufacturing quality.Now, for the review.I have used oil radiator heaters, Dyson brand electric heaters, quartz, infrared, big, small, etc. electric space heaters and this one beats them all. It heats my master bedroom faster and better than any of the others. I don’t know why. I haven’t checked the wattage draw (vs what’s advertised), but most such heaters struggle to warm the room up within an hour when it’s below freezing outside, but this one does it within a few minutes.Second, the smartphone app. I didn’t think I’d care about an app, Bluetooth, or WiFi, but Govee did a great job with this feature. It allows for much easier setting adjustments and monitoring from afar.Third, the nightlight. This one’s a little gimmicky, but it’s nice. Govee is also well known as a manufacturer of LED strip lights and other lights that operate over smartphone apps. Commonly used in YouTube production for accent lighting, these lights can change color or cycle. So they put some into the base of this heater to provide different effects such as mimicking a campfire flame. It can be easily turned off if you want, too.Lastly, it can interface with a wireless thermometer and hygrometer should you choose to buy one. This can provide more accurate readings for the room at a distance from the unit itself, since many rooms heat unevenly.

I don’t make a lot of money, but what extra I do have left I love to spend on making my life easier/enioyable.We just moved to Korea and we’re waiting for our furniture and house hold goods to arrive. It’s starting to get cold here and needed something to warm up the place. We have a good size living area and this thing keeps us warm! What I love is I can tell Alexa to turn it on or off with ease. I don’t want it running 24/7, so I have times set up for it to run to make us comfortable. For example it’s scheduled to turn on at 6:00am and off at 8:00am. That way the living area is nice and warm when I wake up & get ready for work, the. Turns off when I’m out.It works great, makes life easy, and we’re nice and warm in the living room. I got the smaller/cheaper version for our bedroom and it works just as great.

I like the wifi feature and I use it often. I do wish it had a simple little remote too, though, because I don't always wanna open my phone to turn it on. It has the lights which is a nice touch and it is perfect for the average sized room I use it in.

I have purchased 3 of these for my daughter’s rooms, I paired it with their thermostat that turns the heater on and off. It won’t let you run it in auto for more then 24 hours straight, so we made a schedule to turn it off at 6:59 and to turn it back on at 7. My daughter loves this thing because it has a light and she asks me to change the color every night to a new one of her choosing. It works well and turns of when the desired temperature is met. In the winter we have closed the heat vents from our main heater into their bedrooms and have this heater keep their temperature right. It keeps up like a beast, you won’t regret buying this thing

I bought this after getting and loving the smaller version for the bedroom. Being able to use the ap to set and control it is fantastic—I can turn it off from a hundred miles away when I forget. I also love being able to set the temperature and pair it with the separate, inexpensive thermometer to keep a larger space comfortable. I set mine to turn on at 5 each morning to warm the space up before we wake up and it works out perfectly.In a small space, it heats quickly, but it takes time to heat a larger space. We have been keeping our house heat at 60, and using this space heater to keep the main living area comfortable. We have been able to stretch our heating oil a good bit with no notable increase in the electric bill.Seriously great little unit for a living room/shared living area to help manage heating costs.
