I purchased this half expecting it to be a big fail as many other powder foundations have been that I've bought in the past. And now that my skin is more mature, I thought that it would only sit in my fine lines and wrinkles, not doing me any favours. The first couple of times I applied it, I was still a bit sceptical as to how it looked, but now I absolutely love it and wouldn't wear anything else. It evens out my skin tone beautifully, adds colour and brightness to my complexion, and amazingly does not sit in any fine lines and wrinkles. It doesn't even look like you are wearing powder. It's not all chalky. It looks better on me than using a liquid foundation! What I found works best: Make sure your skin is well moisturised before you apply this (I personally use Argan oil on my face beforehand) and then use a setting spray to add a little moisture back and to prevent it looking powdery. You will be amazed how good it looks. I always use setting spray (even something like rosewater will do) but this foundation will last all day whether you used one or not. I've tried the sponge included as well as a couple of different brushes to put it on, and I found what works for me is a large, soft, Kabuki brush for a light coverage. If you want medium to full coverage then apply it with a smaller, firm and densely packed Kabuki or other powder brush. I would not be without this now and will keep on purchasing.

Dud a side by side comparison with covergirl advanced age, and bare minerals was wayyyy better.

I’ve been using BareMinerals Barepro 16 hr Skin Perfecting Powder Foundation for one year now. I love how light it feels on your skin, does not feel heavy or sticky at all. It goes on smooth and gives great coverage. The days I am more active I may have to touch up once but for the most part it lasts all day.

Bare minerals makes great products & this powder is excellent for coverage!!
