These were tiny, so I wasn't sure how well they would work. I watched through the door to see how they worked. My clothes get clean and have a fresh scent.

Does what it is supposed to

A bit small, they do tend to get stuck in clothes that have pockets, but they do the trick. My washer does not have an agitator so I decided to get these. They seem to clean my clothes a lot better than without them. I keep them inside my washer at all times.

I was totally sceptical and did not think this product would make a difference. And, I was proven wrong. I discovered it is best to place some of the clothing in the washer, add some of the laundry balls, add another layer of clothes, add more balls, etc. My clothes are no longer tied in knots at the end of the wash and are less wrinkled. Doesn't eliminate all wrinkles, but certainly eliminated the twisted, knotted clothing that had to be untangled. I recommend giving them a try if you have a similar issue with your washer. Beats replacing the washer!

They are about 1.5" in diameter (including spikes) and some have bent spikes, the mold was misaligned so there are some "sharp" edges and you will need to cut mold ends (sprues) off. They are made of a fairly soft PVC so I'm not sure if they will pull threads in delicate clothing. I'm not sure I'd trust them. All that aside they should help agitate small loads of laundry. I use "The Wonder Wash" hand washing machine so they'll work for me. If you are using a full size washing machine I don't think they'd work well unless you bought 30 or more. I also don't think I'd trust them not to melt in the dryer; they do have the typical PVC factory smell.

I should have read how small they are instead of going by the picture. Pictures are not true to size. They just get caught in the clothes and do nothing to agitate the laundry. I wouldn't recommend buying.
