Ordered a set of these to run around the edges of my apartment as sorta a cheap ambient lighting set-up. The remote, while a smidge bit unresponsive at times, is an absolute blessing for wanting to go to bed without having to get up and flip off a switch. The light is a cozy yellow, and the different modes on the remote are far more than I myself will ever use, though it's nice they included it all in.These aren't super bright, mind you, but I'm probably using them for the wrong application and even then a second set solved that issue.My only real complaints are that I wish the begining part of the cord was a bit longer to better accommodate the signal receiver. The up and down functions on the remote for lighting brightness don't seem to work.Overall though, a great product that does what it's stated to do. Would totally buy again.

While the string is waterproof, the power supply and control units are not. Making this not suitable for outdoor use.Also, requires the tiny remote to function - I've lost *so* many remotes of this size.If however, you're looking at a permanent indoor setup, the lights are pretty and work well.

I set up the lights at work and when I finally got them all hooked up and turned on, about a 1/3rd of the lights didn’t work. I tried to wiggle the wires to see if maybe there was a short but no luck. They look good but sucks that I went thru all that work in setting it up to find it not working 100%. The picture I’m posting I circled the section of the lights that didn’t work. :(

These have been amazing and I covered my 7' Christmas tree with 2 strands. Love the multiple settings and they use a fraction of the energy of the multiple stings of conventional tree lights I usually use. I can think of a million other uses for these throughout the year. Fantastic purchase.

A year later, and these are still going strong. The remote requires a specific touch, though, so it's not always easy to use. Sometimes it feels like I have to press really hard to turn the lights off or on. But in actuality, it requires that I touch it "just right" then it's fine.

Trying to figure out where to hang it. Mine is over 8'. Maybe I'm stretching it too much? The plug in/cord is also on the right side or the stripe side if your thinking of using this without an extension cord. The provided cord is only about 3' long.It looks cool and it came with the gift flag. So 5-stars.

These are very pretty and nice and long... they reached all the way around my living room. And they were easy to put up.I really like the dimmer capability... the brightest is good and light and the dimmest is just enough to see by but very subtle.
