3"x4" Pocket Watch Glass Display Dome Cloche Real Walnut Wood Base & Gold Brass Hook

I ordered 2 of the pocket watch display domes to showcase my great grandfather's & my grandfather's pocket watches. Both arrived in perfect condition...individually boxed & well protected.Unlike the other model which has a brass post fitted into the walnut base with a hook at the top which allows you to hang the watch on, this model has the hook at the top of the glass dome attached by a brass finial....so there is no post behind the watch to detract from the watch itself.Although wood stained finials were available, I chose the brass finial because these watches now sit on our mantle piece & go beautifully with the brass sconces that are on the wall over the fireplace.I couldn't be more pleased!

A beautiful way to display my husband's grandfather's pocket watch to be gifted to my son. Very pleased with the size and quality of glass as well as the walnut base.

We got this display dome to display my husband's grandfather's pocket watch that he received upon his passing. We have it displayed on a shelf along with his flag from WWII and his Veteran hat that he always wore. It's a beautiful but simple way to pay a tribute to a wonderful man! It was perfect!

This is a very nice looking domed watch holder. Base is nicely finished and fits in nicely with most furniture. The glass dome is exactly that and topped with a nice finial, and I experienced no problems with hanging the watch I own on the hook. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except for the fact that my watch did not fit the case as it should have. I have a old Rockford Watch railroad watch which is large in size, the watch touches the bottom of the base once the dome is placed on the base. This raises the watch ever so slightly off the hook allowing the watch to "spin" slightly from side to side. I wish that I knew that the dome was not tall enough to hold the watch properly as it should be suspended slightly above the base. At any rate not a bad item considering the price. Word of caution, make sure that your watch will fit this dome before ordering it to avoid the issue I am dealing with.

The display dome was packed well and looks great.

Hook thicker than pictured. The hook would not fit through watch stem loop. I had to improvise with a loop of fishing line to make it possible to hang watch on hook. Looks good now.

i purchased this dome for my grandson's pocket watch and will be giving him both the dome and watch for Christmas this year. I am extremely happy with the the Dome and especially the care that the manufacturer took in packing the Dome so that it would not break. The quality seems extremely nice and I am so far very please with everything. I will be anxious to see my Grandson's expression when he opens the gifts. I think between the two it will be a good memory for him, I couldn't be happier.

Purchased for antique watch display. Was perfectly sized to hold watch and was attractive enough not to detract from the watch. Perfect to sit on a table for display. Glass dome arrived in good shape as did the rest. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to display a pocket watch. Very pleased.
