Good fixit plate
Our dining room table is supported by a pedestal with four legs at the base. The pedestal itself was split vertically so that the table would rock and the crack expand when any weight was put toward one side. A lot of glue, this plate across the bottom, and the table is as good as new. I did need to get a serious c-clamp to bring it all together so that the fix left no gap.

A nice product.
Usually relative specialized items like this are comparatively expensive. This set of hardware is the exception (I received 6 pieces). Not only was it inexpensive, it was received in just 2 days. These mending plates have proved to be a stronger and more durable item then I had expected.Now for an odd note. When I click on the link back to the product page where I ordered this item from it shows it shows a much smaller brace and only includes a single piece rather than 6. I suspect the item may have been erroneously offered and has since been withdrawn. However, even if that is the case I am happy to report that I was sent the item originally shown with no suggestion that I was expected to pay any extra (contrast this with various reviews that complain that what was received differed from what was shown or expected).

Very large and rugged repair plastes for the big jobs
It's hard to find large repair plates as good as these at a reasonable price. But here they are. Very beefy. I scuffed them and painted them flat back - used them to repair some sagging vibraphone and marimba keyboard racks for my daughter's high school band.

Great for structure reinforcement
I used these braces to structurally support my load bearing block walls after my plumber had cut them to relocate the drain pipe. They are great for piece of mind.

Great mending plates for weird jobs
I bought this after a new fence post was installed and way too short...I added a 4" fence post to the top and used two of these to join the pieces together and it works great. I actually thought it might be too sturdy!

Very sturdy! Worked perfectly for fixing a post broken 1/3 of the way up.
