I don't know what the "life" of this lamp will be (LED lights are not replaceable) but, in the present, this lamp is so totally perfect for me! I have a very small living room and especially in the fall/winter hours, it's dark. I don't like the light from an overhead fan-light and wanted something of a non-distracting appearance with a small footprint that could go behind my sofa (which is close to, parallel with the wall) and happily, I 'found' this lamp. This lamp provides excellent localized light -- and with its remote control can give so many lighting options from a dim nightlight to fully bright100% white light excellent for task work and reading. The remote has a dimmer, and "color variator" so brightness and whiteness can be toned down -- cool! The lamp has a very adjustable gooseneck but the pole part is fixed & will not make a shorter lamp. My only whinge is that I do wish this came in different colors (white, beige, silver, etc.) so it wouldn't be so stark and apparent against the neutral color of my living room.

I forgot I had a new lamp in my room until a friend mentioned it a day later. The remote is like any modern remote, takes a week to train your fingers. There are variables on intensity built-into the lamp - so have fun finding your perfect lighting zone. This lamp allows you to make the light for the room and for a particular purpose, to read, to light a room for walking in, ambiance, you will appreciate the variety the remote offers. A remodeling contractor noticed it the first day and loved it so much I bought him one as a bonus for a good bathroom remodel, lol. He is grinning when he see me now. Keep the workers happy - I always say.

My space Is tight. I needed something tiny that I could place anywhere behind a couch or chair without, bumping into it, not bulky looking and could be movee around easily. This is an awesome light. Very bright if I need it or low as a very low night light, just by lightly tapping the tip; or use my handy remote when needed that comes with it. The top easily bends with one hand without rocking the base. I liked it so much I purchased a second on between a wall and a bed where a lamp and shade could not fit and this worked perfectly! If your looking for a slim, well made modern light, this may what your looking for. I would recommend this floor lamp.

I Love this lamp, I use it in my bedroom. No more worrying about finding replacement bulbs. The remote control is awesome ,you change your light to a bright white light down to low warm glow, anything in between. I also really enjoy the nightlight feature on the remote. This light is easy to assemble, it is easy to adjust to have over your head,facing any direction ,or straight. I have no glare on books or computers. Best lamp I have found in many years,multi use and a great price.

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING LIGHT !!! CURRENTLY USING FOR GUEST ROOM LIGHTING AT BED, but the light has so many various color temperature light settings that it is extremely useful in my living room.... Everyone asks where I got it ......I am almost embarrassed to tell them the price - GREAT VALUE.... Whether it will hold up is the missing question..... So far so good.....David Landy Interiors

After hip survery it was difficult for my brother to walk to the wall light switch to turn on and off as needed. This lamp was the best thing for him. It has a remote and several lighting levels. If he wanted to sleep with some light he could put it on the nap mode, if he needed to read or see fine things he could place it on the high mode. Having the remote was the best since he had limited mobility. This lamp also did not take up any real space in the room. Everyone that has seen it wants one.
