This is a stained glass panel with recycled vintage Luminarc plate fashioned into glass home decor as a window transom, suncatcher or valance! Remember the days when you got something free? Remember the juice glasses that came with jelly or peanut butter? Well, those days might be gone, but the past can be revisited! This plate is the same pattern as those old peanut butter glasses! Manufactured by Arc International, this pattern's history starts in 1948. The pattern is called Luminarc, and it simply sparkles in the sunlight. The texture of the pattern shines (though the photos don't really show it well) with the gray wavy glass providing definition while the decorative soldering brings the eye where it belongs -- to the center! And note those charming corner filigrees! Rings are attached for hanging horizontally or vertically. Approximately 16 x 14 inches this piece is great indoors or out, and is fabulous in a sunny window.
