These work fine but not enough of them.
These work well but seems I need two to cover the bottom and sides of crust (deep dish which is only pies I make) .

Easy to use
Like the easy of use and no need to use parchment paper. You can just set directly on the crust. No more blind baking and guessing if the crust is done you can see it.

Too small and too light for pie crusts
I really like the idea of this, but it needs to be bigger and heavier to blind bake a pie crust. Normally, you line a pie crust with aluminum foil and then fill it with dried beans, as you need to press the whole thing into the bottom and sides of the pan to keep it from puffing up. Not only are these beads very lightweight, but they just don't amount to much. They leave a lot of space even on the bottom, through which the exposed crust pops up. Probably even if this was made of the same material but of much greater length, that would work. It needs to have enough volume to fill the pie pan.

Work but could be heavier
I got these for whenever I need to do blind bags so that I had something washable and reusable instead of using beans or something else. When I blind baked for my tart these were not heavy enough to keep the bottom crust down and it did bubble up. It didn't bubble up like it would have if nothing was there but it could be better. These aren't very heavy and fit about a 9" tin
