My sister wore them to her ring dance and they were the perfect gloves! They were a little past elbow length, super soft, easy to wear, and look elegant. They were definitely worth it, considering how little they cost. Would definitely buy again!

I used these for a last minute poison ivy costume and they worked great. The color is gorgeous, the stitching is well put together and they fit snug on your arms. They are very soft and silky. A definite recommendation!

I bought this as part of a dance costume. The gloves look just like the picture shown. The satin fabric is very pretty and has a shine to it. It comes up to mid-bicep but there is no elastic at the top to give it stretch or hold it in place. The gloves fit very snuggly on me and didn't move or droop down as I moved my arms. The fabric doesn't stretch much so some may have trouble with the sizing. Luckily it's a perfect fit for me.After my initial review, my troupe decided to use these for a routine. We bought a different color than before and noticed some differences in quality. The finger loop came off on one glove the first time it was worn. It was an easy fix to sew it back but still a minor hassle. The fit was still snug and fit everyone pretty well but the top part drooped down now and then as we moved. It didn't droop past the elbows but we still had to pull them up so they didn't look wrinkled. The gloves are still beautiful but it seems the quality is not consistent.

going to an event where the theme is green - my outfit has various shades of green and I was tempted to get "green" but saw a number of reviews that indicated the color was a little more teal so I went with "forest green." I'm happy with the choice -- nice, color; very similar to what appears on my monitor. The finger loop has survived my trying on the gloves many times - I would note that it is a thin ribbon which perfectly matches the glove but, as a ribbon, it has no give at all. It can be uncomfortable if the glove is pulling that area, but I adjust it not to pull and it seems fine. I'm tempted to replace the ribbon with a thin elastic but the ribbon color is such a perfect match, I can't stand the idea of putting a thin black elastic on there.FWIW, I added some ruffled ribbon trim to the point on the top of the hand and I really love them now!

Satin fabric is pretty and arm width good, but the finger loop is too big and long. I would have had to re-sew it to fit so that the glove didn't keep sliding off. Returned it.

Loved these gloves! I used them for my Starfire cosplay and they worked great! The string did break at one point, but I'd say that was from my heavy use and I just quickly mended it and it everything was all good! They were very comfortable and held up very well! Highly recommend.

I bought these in silver to wear with a dark blue satin ball gown. When paired with a gown, they didn't look too superhero-ish, which I was worried about, but instead they were perfect for a formal event and everyone loved them. I have small arms, though I'm not a stick figure, just athletic. These fit me perfectly, "like a glove." They stay up, but they're not tight either. I've attached pictures. I will absolutely wear these to my next formal event.Update: bought a second pair in black for a steampunk masquerade ball. The second pair fits just like the first pair I bought, and I haven't had any problems with the finger loop that some other reviewers are having. My advice: don't put any tension on the finger loop and you'll be fine. And be careful taking them out of the cardboard they come in.2nd Update: bought a red pair for a Superhero 5k race. I went as Elektra. It was mild that day, so they held in a little bit of heat but didn't make me get too hot. They were great. See pictures.
