If you want high quality, keep looking, but be prepared to pay a lot more. This is a BASIC soldering kit but it comes with everything you need. And it's pretty decently priced. I used it to solder/repair multiple thin-strand internal wires in my Segway scooter and it worked wonderfully. The best part, besides the adequate tools, is the very decent soft-case that everything stores in. Again, this is a world away from anything you would use professionally or dare I say even as a hobbyist, but for the occasional use like my Segway "project," this was more than adequate and it didn't break the bank and it doesn't take up much space.Get it, use it, and get on with your life...

This is a great and complete kit with everything one needs. It includdes solder, flux, and even electrical tape. However, the soldering iron can do with a switch instead of the plug-and-play.

Great value and surprisingly great quality for the price point. I was fixing an electric scooter and really only bought this for the wires that came in the kit. Turns out, the soldering iron in this kit was better than the one I bought at Walmart and the other one I bought at harbor freight - and this one even included accessories that the others were missing.The temperature settings seem to be accurate and I like how the kit came with almost all the stuff you need for small projects. I was also surprised by the quality of the soldering iron as well as some of the stuff in the kit like the clippers and stand.My only gripe would be the wire strippers are simple and only great at stripping 22 gauge wire, but you can make it work for other gauges with some effort.
