NOT ACTUALLY WIRELESS, SOUND GOOD BUT NEEDS FILTER
### UPDATED-The below is still correct, the mic requires a wire between the headseet and the controller. Does _not_ require an adapter on the newer XBOX one controllers, just make sure you have the cable turned around the right way.Having said that, I've raised my review from 1 star to 3 stars because:o I should have looked at the questions not just the reviews before purchasing which clearly state a wire is requiredo The audo is far superior than my other headset, with the exception of a frequent/occassional crackle/pop sound which is due to signal issue between headset and transmitter- they need to add a notch-filter to remove these clicks and pops which would make the sound excellent.o If the sound weren't as good as it is, clarity wise (aside from occassional clicks/pops), I'd return it.--------------ORIGINAL REVIEW (1 star):The primary question most people have is-- is it entirely wireless. No, it isn't. We're talking about the headset, not a controller. In order for the Mic to work, you must have a WIRE connecting it to the controller. Hence, not wireless at all. I already had the same situation with another product, so this gained me nothing except wasted money. No I don't have kinnect, it's an incredible invastion of privacy to have something that monitors you, your children, or anyone in a room with complete biometrics for their voice, body in any position, etc.I'm writing this because of all the reviews I read, no one tested this aspect, which is the only value of the product.... that being it's supposed to be 'WIRELESS'.

Good but not great
Let me start by saying I am far from an expert in gaming headphones. My experience is a pair of Turtle Beach headphones I bought for myself a few years back and a pair of Astro headphones brought from my brother a year ago. I was excited to get these because they were Wireless and work with a wide range of gaming systems I have both an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3 and was excited that it would work for both systems. Right off the bat the head phone some selves feel like they're relatively cheapish and will not stand out too too much abuse. The feel when wearing them is kind of large and not great but not bad either. The sound quality and connections are pretty easy and straightforward and there are a lot of instructions for every system and how to connect them. All in all a good option when you don't want to spend North words of $200 on one of the Big Brand store headphone sets

The worst Headset I have ever used, or tried to use.
What can I say? well to start the make is flimsy to say the least. volume control feels like it is broken, and guess what it never worked but I still tried to get pass that. sound seemed for the first couple of minutes to be good, until I started changing the volume, number one, it never made a difference on the headset. they stayed at the same volume, but then all I got was static, really bad static.then even after a couple of minutes my ears were burning hot from the cloth cushion.I am sorry but these are by far the worst headphones I have ever bought, sending them back asap!!!!

So i was surprised at the sound quality that these wireless headphones produce, it is true surround sound AND a high volume, my problem with some headphones is that they lack good top volume most likely since the base connects to the PS4 via an optic cable, which was another pleasant surprise, there are independent controls for chat and game volume which some headphone makes can't seem to add?now as for the cons, it has a very cheap plasticky feel, construction is plastic everything, BUT so where the Sony Golds but i can say the headband on these feels waybetter and stronger than what the Sony Golds have, and some of us know how they eventually crack, and the other knock is that every so often i lose sound connectivity from the base but it's momentarily and nothing extreme, it happens every once in a while, those two things are what kept me from giving it a 5 star, for the type of sounds quality and controls you get for the money you can't beat it. We'll see how long they last, I'll update it later.

Horrible feedback noise and static after a few weeks
I purchased these about 4 months ago. Use them about twice a week. If your on Xbox one they aren’t truly wireless. After not very long of use every time I turn them on there’s a horrific static feedback noise. The only way to get it to go away is to turn it off and wait atleast 20 minutes and hope it’s gone when you turn them back on. There’s also loud static that blares through the headset if you turn your head to fast. And they don’t hold a charge. For the first couple weeks they were fine but drastically declined into a terrible product after that. I highly recommend spending a little extra and getting a name brand quality product. Wish I would have

Description is a lie for xbox one
This headsets mic does not work with xbox one. The description is a lie. It says it works without the chat adaptor with new xbox one controllers and it doesn't.. I'm not buying a 40 dollar mic adaptor to use these. I will be returning them. Also this volume of these things is laughable. Do not purchase. You're not even able to msg the seller to solve issues

Malfunctioning Charge Port/Not A Durable Product
I thought I had lucked out and gotten a deal with these but they didn't last. I'm an adult who respects my belongings and has an appreciation for how electronics can be delicate. Even so, just after about 6 weeks of what I would classify as light usage, the connection that allows for the headset to be charge stopped working. So, while the rest of it all probably still works, it doesn't matter because the unit can no longer be charged. Luckily I realized what was going on before it could bite me in a meeting. If that had happened this review would be far less even. You're better off spending an extra $20 and getting something from Corsair.

Microphone will not work wireless
This product is truly not wireless if you use the microphone for Xbox One. Headphones will work wireless, but you would need to purchase an adapter to enable microphone to be used wirelessly. The adapter device is costly, and your best option is to buy an actual Xbox one headset such as Turtle Beach. We returned this and purchased an Xbox One headset that supports both headphone and microphone wireless use, and it was cheaper than paying for the adapter.
