AidataLD005 LAPstation Multi-function Laptop Station Stand

I just recieved this 2 days ago. This is the first Lapstation of any kind I have owned. I seen several I would have purchased, but I have to have a mouse pad with the Lap Pad and the others I was seriousally intresented in didn't offer that. This is not something I would try to take anywhere unless I was going to be somewhere for some time. It is too big. I own a 17" HP Envy and here are the things I really like about this Lapstation...My Envy sits very stable, the height adjusts easily, I love the storage area for my mouse!..I have very small Grandchildren in my house and if I need to go away from my computer for a while I can tuck the mouse away and not have to worry about one of the kids picking it up (19 months and 3 yrs.), or worse, me misplacing it. MY Envy does not seem to get very warm that I have noticed even without a fan, but I do use the fan because I would think that comon sense would tell me that any air circulating has to be a help, so by now you have figured out I am far from being an expert. The position of the mouse pad does feel a little ackward and I am not sure of the Eurgo effects it will have at this point. But, in all reality I think any mouse pad on a Lap Pad that tilts would have to be a little ackward. My 17" HP Envy is much heavier and more bulky than a smaller Laptop, so taking this into consideration, this Lapstation has the features I was looking for and it it is very sturdy and my Laptop feels very stable while using it. The mouse pad feels very sturdy and stable. I will be looking for reviews from the people who really know, to see how well the fan actually cools compared to others. That does spark my curiousity! I could not find any reviews for this (except 1 on amazon), I hope this helps someone else. PS..don't try sitting in a recliner and use the mouse pad..it is too wide and the arms of the chair are in the way, but than again, my 17" HP is kinda big and bulky and I have to have the mouse pad. Maybe this is one reason I didn't see a lot of mouse pads on Lap Pads! The more I use this, the more I like it.

Good product. I have enjoyed using it and my sister came to visit and sort of took it over. She really likes it.

Great product!! It raises the laptop up to the perfect level. My neck had been sore for weeks from looking down while using my laptop, but since using the Aidata LD005 LAPstation my neck pain is gone!!

This product was INGENIOUSLY designed. It can work as a lap desk or a laptop riser for your desktop (by removing the Velcro-attached cushion). But what I love most about it is the mouse pad, which can be installed on the left or right side (great for lefties like me) or simply put away to make it more compact. The handle is also quite useful for carrying it around.There are a few things I might have done differently if I were designing it to make it perfect. Again, these are minor quibbles with a generally great product.First of all, I'd make the case a bit bigger so you can actually store your laptop in it. The only thing this really stores is the mouse pad and maybe a few pens.Secondly, I'd make it a USB hub. Right now, it does have a fan that connects via USB, but it would be nice if other devices could connect to the computer via the stand.

Excellent product. This Laptop Station Stand can be usedd virtually anywhere. I use this stand atop a Mobile Laptop/Notebook Wordstation. I have found this product makes using my laptop much easer when viewing typing.

I researched several web sites for a lap top that kept my computer cool, sturdy, easy to use. The Aidata Laptop is the best out there by far!! You will love all of its features. None other will top it!

I bought this to use in the evenings whilst watching TV and sitting in a comfy chair operating my laptop.I have restricted room due the high narrow arms of my chair. The Aidata sits perfectly in the space and allowsme to use my mouse on the slide out tray in front of my chair arms. The tilt mechanism gives me good adjustmentand the rib along the front of the unit stops my laptop sliding forward. I don't use the cooler fan but I have triedit and is seemed sufficiently quiet not to be a problem. Some may find the unit a little heavy but I am happy touse it for a few hours without it being a problem.A bargain for the price.

This is a fantastic workstation, I constantly use it, it sits on my table and I can have it at several viewing angles, when the computer gets a bit hot I just plug in the fan to the spare USB port and it is so silent but effective, I like the way also you canuse the mouse pad either left or right handed, when I want to relax with it on my lap the soft cushion underneath makes it comfortable, mind you it does tend to be a little heavy after a long while, the handy little space underneath is where I keep my extra leads for my camera etc. Overall this is well worth the money as it is robust and sterdy.
