Gallon Gear Utility Water Jug Cover

I wanted to make sure that I wrote a review on this so others are warned about one design flaw. I'll start off by saying that this product is good. I'm happy with it. The price for the quality is alittle ridiculous though. This should cost $19.99 and no more. Now, my one complaint about the design: the pockets don't line up with the sides of the gallon jug that you will be using with the Gear Gallon. For the most part we are all going to be using a standard one gallon jug purchased from our local supermarkets, it'll be four-sided with a handle. The problem with the Gear Gallon is that they placed the pockets in a manner where they go across the corners of the jug. One would think that it would make more sense to put one pocket per each side of the jug. But, no. Instead they placed them kind of haphazardly so that the pocket stretches across the corners of the jug. I put my cell phone in the mesh pocket and the corner sits against the back of the cell phone. And forget about even using the clear plastic pocket unless you plan on putting a piece of paper in there. The pocket is basically halved because the corner of the jug sits right in the middle of the pocket. Other than that stuff, I think it's a good product but over priced.

So far, this product is pretty legit. Upon closer examination I found it to be sturdy, well crafted, and pliable. Because I own a Google Nexus 6p cell phone, which is basically the size of a freekin' VCR, I was concerned that it would put too much pressure on it when I inserted it into the clear/front pouch. It didn't! It was a nice comfortable fit. Also, the pouches are deep so you can stick all sorts of gizmos and gagets in them, securely. However, there is one caveat I'd like to mention. It's not necessary, but I highly HIGHLY! recommend that you get yourself one of those BPA gallon jugs, that are boxier in shape, as oppose to using the ol' milk jug from the fridge. Although the GG cover fits well on them, the rounder shape makes the pouches rest awkwardly against its surface. For $h!ts n gigs, I stuck my phone in the clear pouch and it seemed to put the pressure I initially feared it would on my phone. I put the GG back on the BPA jug and it was right as rain again. It seems this product was built for the BPA jug. I lug it to the gym with me 4-5 days a week and it holds up just fine and looks bad a$$!! This is a good solid product worthy of this average Joe's recommendation. So. Why only 4 stars you wonder? Honestly ... I'm a cheap SOB. GCR Fitness gets my money, but I get their 5th star!!!! Haha!!UPDATE: Its been nearly 3 years of constant use and this product is still alive and kickin’!! One tiny knock is, the little strap that holds your keys is a little strectched out, but the key clap works just as good as the day i received it. This is a great product and mos def worth the 30.00 bucks!! The folks over at Gallon Gear did a GREAT job on this!! I would STILL reccomend this product to fit heads and anyone just wanting to stay hydrated throughout the day!! Im giving GG their 5th star, lol!!! They earned it!! ⭐️

This thing is great holds a gallon of water your wallet your cell phone and you locker keys all in one little convenient bundle I feel it helps enhance my gym experience and would recommend it to others only thing they should have an all black option without any words on it other then that it's great.

Loved it, a lil pricey but worth it. Just wish it had washing instructions but it works great, fits perfectly, keeps the water cool and the pockets are super helpful while working out!!!! Second one I buy, highly recommended.

Love love love these! Ordered the aqua blue for my husband and pink for myself. Super happy with them and they fit great on our gallon jugs. I would definitely recommend to others.

I absolutely LOVE this for my gym carry item,, The ONLY reason I didnt give it a 5star was because of the price factor,, Im always getting asked where I bought it, BUT once I tell them the price that I paid I get this "Are you a retard" look for having spent so much for a piece of neoprene. In all fairness I was enjoying a few Rum & Cokes when I had placed the order,,,, But hey you only live once,, I love this thing :)

I loved this product so much I still use the gallon gear cover to this date and I have had this product for over a yearyou can check my youtube channel "VloggerEdson" for a review video i made about it its a solid product I would stay away from the Glass bottles you see as they are fragile just get a nice solid bpa free container and slap a gallon gear on it

It's good, but get a bit sloppy when you turn your bottle up for a big gulp. Had a really strong vinyl/rubber smell. Had to air it out a couple of days outside to get rid of the smell, otherwise, a good product. You can live without it, but saw a couple of guys at the gym with them, so of course I wanted one too.
