"Boarded Barn Window with Horseshoe" is a digital color photograph that has been slightly manipulated using software to highlight certain characteristics of the image. My technique creates a look recalls old pen and ink drawings of the past, so your print will have a rustic look. This photograph is of a broken window in an old horse stable. The top three window panes are visible above the shutter. Tree branches are reflected in the windows. A wooden ceiling is visible in the space above the window. The shutter is made of barn siding painted red with an old iron horse shoe attached to it. The shutter is attached by black T hinges, and it covers the width of the window, but not the height. The shutter sits on a sill. Below the sill is red siding, while on either side of the window is heavily weathered white siding. The right edge shows a field stone wall. The old building is skewed.
