Sybille Lichtenstein Ceramic Piggy Bank, Toot-Toot Car (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I gave my niece this for x'mas and she absolutely loved it! Very adorable.Unfortunately, the ears are very easy to fall off. It was only the next day that one ear fell off, followed soon after by the other one. My little girl was heart-broken, and through her panic she accidentally broke the whole thing (this time it was not the manufacturer's fault, of course), which led to even more tears =(Since then, she has been asking for the the snail. So I purchased another one for her birthday (which was in June). And guess what? One of the ears already fell off when we opened the amazon box! I felt so bad because I almost made her cry again. I then proceeded to inspect the snail and it already had scratches and some of the paint was chipped off. I was very disappointed but she was too attached to it and it was too much trouble so I didn't return it. But =(

This snail is adorable and just as pictured...aside from the fact that for whatever reason the paint seems to just flake away despite the glaze/paint seal that's on it. I didn't return because the colors are perfect for my baby's nursery and the snail itself is really cute. It does have a smiling face (which doesn't show in the pictures). Its just over 5" tall and 6" in length. The chipping paint is minimal, just frustrating.

The Emma Snail is beautiful! It is the perfect whimsical piece that can grow with her for years. The packaging was unexpectedly lovely as it comes in a transparent drum with polka dots and a pretty ribbon. I can't wait to give it to her so she can transfer the bit of change she's accrued to her precious Emma Snail and learn the lessons of saving.

Very cute. Perfect size for my 5 year old. The packaging was a nice, beautiful surprise. The slot on top is perfect for change or bills. The plug on bottom is not difficult to take out or put back in & it's easy to retrieve money. Very happy with this purchase!

Its adorable. Antennae are easily breakable especially when handled by child. Mine were in tact for all of 24 hours. Easily glue-able!

This is such a cute Piggy Bank. It is a perfect size and will look great in my son's room. I am so happy I decided to get it.I received the package in a timely fashion, during the estimated delivery date, and it was carefully packaged as to prevent damage. Great experience.

I buy banks for new babies (in this instance a little girl) and this gives us an opportunity to feed the bank on birthdays! This particular snail is a very nice sized bank and is packaged very nicely in a round plastic container with a bow on top! Very cute!

I purchased this item for a baby shower I'm attending next weekend. It's absolutely adorable. Beautifully packaged and much larger than I anticipated. The colors are pretty and my hope is Miss Emma will be well received.
