Almost perfect saw
His saw saved me a lot of time while doing some repeat cuts that shrank by 1 millimeter each round. He he saw got the job done…but…the ruler is very difficult to read …black on black. The fence did a good job squaring and locking…but..a rotating dial to adjust the fence would have been great. The rpm dial is difficult to use…too thin. No rubber feet.

Excellent for every application I've used it for
So far, I've needed to cut 11 stair treads and their risers, and quite a bit of brass to make a metal project. It has worked wonderfully for both. The bIade that came with the saw was as dull as a butter knife after the first 5 or 6 cuts, so be aware you'll need to also invest in some decent blades. I bought both a good wood blade and another manufacturer's metal-cutting blade but it's been well worth the expense. This tiny saw has, so far, replaced both my monster radial arm saw, and my full-size table saw with no issues.Be aware though: this is a hobbyist saw. If you're a contractor or a commercial business, this may not be what you need. For the homeowner with little storage space, or the hobbyist working on small projects, this saw is awesome.

Great Tech Support
Update 2-19-23(Note: I changed the headline of this review) Tech Support sent me the new circuit board but it didn't really fix it. I contacted them again and they called me on the phone. After that they sent me a new motor - said if that didn't work I could ship it the saw to them for repairs. It was fairly involved to install it, but the new motor fixed it and all is good. I like the saw again and am being careful to not overheat it.Update 1-25-23: I received an email from Micro Mark Tech Support and they apologized for their delayed response. They are sending a new power supply board under warranty. I'll just have to remember to give it a cool-down period like they recommend.I liked this saw. I did what I needed it to do. Unfortunately, I worked it a little too hard. Ripping 2 maple 1x2s one after the other. The instructions warn against not allowing a cool-down period. Anyway, I think I burnt up the power supply circuit board. The actual motor in the saw is DC. The 120v power needs to be converted to variable DC voltage.Okay. I admit I didn't heed the warning. The problem is that their customer service / tech support is non-existent. I call and after listening to the recording for a half hour that recommends emailing them, I've emailed them several times with no response or acknowledgment. All I want is a new power supply board and I'm willing to pay for it (it's only 7 months into the one year warranty). If they will respond, I'll gladly amend this review but for now I would just say "don't risk buying it".

Well worth the price!
An exceptional value for what seemed to be an overpriced toy. I needed the tilting table for the work I do, but no longer had adequate room for my larger table saw. With this the only option I could find, I took a shot, knowing I could return it if it wasn’t a good fit. It is a keeper, a well designed and well built machine, compact and reasonably powerful for hobby scale work.

Unusable Saw Delivered
I was disappointed when I received my $350 micro saw and it was unusable. The blade fence is arched up about 1/8” from the table. It is hard to believe this passed quality control. The saw seems pretty nice otherwise, so I wrote to the email included in the instructions - [email protected] - and the address came back as undeliverable.I bought this saw for a project that I was hoping to start this week. Now I am shopping for a different brand of saw…
