I binned the hammer, 'cos I already had better, so can't comment on that.Mandrel is OK, not brilliant but OK.Machining aint the best, there are miniscule ridges which mean the mandrel is 'sticky' in use.A more polished finish would be way, way better.Hard to say, exactly, but it looks like the mandrel tops out at maybe ring size Z+2.I realise, of course, that Z+2 would be plenty, for most people, but, for me, bigger would be better.Most buyers would be very happy with this product, and the price is fair for what it does, but please note limitations as stated above.

Poor product. Mandrel not smooth as described with defined ridges from machining.had to return.
