I was hesitant to purchase a “box spring” that needed assembly. Always thought they came ready made to fit a bed frame.This product was reasonably easy to assemble, in that installing 20 small bolts and nuts that must align with corresponding holes in the frames went together well.Just a small suggestion, screw the nuts of and onto the bolts before actually using them as fasteners.The factory paint makes these items sometimes difficult to begin threading on, until the paint is stripped off by threading.All parts were present, and instructions were adequate.

Instructions are not good. It wouldn't be so hard if the instructions were clear as to how to put the pieces together. Once together, it's fine.

Isn't bulky perfect for a small room.

I would have given it 5 stars if I did not have to struggle so much to put this thing together. You can buy the product (well packed, good quality product, all the pieces were there, and the tools were provided) but my advice is to assemble it with the help of another person! Also, I thought that the cover was too small, but actually, you really need to pull on it to fit it around the frame.

When assembled, it is very convenient to use. Looks good and has a case. from the material. I just had to make an effort when assembling in one place, I had to tighten the rails. In general, the product is satisfied.

I wish we would have invested in this sooner. My husband and I bought a king size bed 3-4 years ago, and the past couple years I have not been sleeping well. I thought we made a mistake and bought the wrong kind of mattress, and when you spend a couple thousand dollars on a new mattress, it needs to feel fantastic. I put this together myself, it took me a couple hours but the directions were detailed enough for me to understand them. It comes with tools to put it together, and they worked as expected. I also bought a new bed frame to put this metal box spring on, and it's been the best sleep I've ever had.It's worth your time to put it together. My husband and I have been thrilled to wake up with no back/neck pain. It's a solid 10 out of 10.

This was very difficult to assemble. The instructions are basically an exploded diagram that shows how the parts fit together. But detail on the parts is not good/blurry and it makes it difficult to read.For each step there is a sentence or two that tells you things like attach part C to part A. The only problem is that only two of the parts are labelled, so you have to rely on the pictures to put it together.Also, the way that the frame is made it doesn't lay flush to the floor/ground, which makes it difficult to get some of the parts to fit, especially the center supports. The first step they have you do is put the wall brackets on. I would actually do that last, since they are in part to blame for not being able to lay the frame flat.The frame also kept collapsing on me. I suggest you put down something to protect your floor or else the floor might get gouged.I almost gave up and walked it out to the dumpster (since I have missed my return window). But two hours later I have it assembled. I assembled it by myself, but an extra set of hands wouldn't have helped much. I would not buy this again only because it's so difficult to put together.
